Am I still welcome here?

My wife and baby are fantastic, which means I am fantastic...  I took a job with the Office of the State Engineer.  Today is day three and I really don't know what I am doing yet, but I will get there.  I think... I do have the oppurtunity to attend graduate school at Northern Arizona University.  They offered me a Teaching Assistantship.  I am tempted to go but would feel aweful leaving the state after only a few months...  Quite a decision to make!!!!
