AAAAAHHHH What a crazy day!  Its a long explanation, but suffice to say to old me would be well into her 4000th calorie by now.  The new me has thus far had: B - 1/2 piece of whole grain toast, 1 egg L - 2 string cheese, 20 small red grapes S - 5 tortilla chips I'm gonna have to work on getting my protein in this evening for sure!  How about you?  How'd you do today?

Time to finish my day - Husband and I went to dinner at an Italian restaurant - I picked at some chicken and veggies and had a slice of bread.  Then at home I had 16oz mootopia plus a packet of carnation instant breakfast NSA - that's 33g of protein so I should be close or slightly over my goal for protein.  We won't even talk about carbs or fat *hangs head*

Hey QT sorry you had 4000 calorie kinda day,  Mine was kinda non-stimulating. Besides the fact that I left my gym shoes at home and worked out in my sox it was a basic day in the life of Estelle *boring B= Light N Fit Yogurt 1 whole L=Parmesan Garlic soy waffle crisps and chicken salad  S=edamame (I ate these all day I finished off the entire carton which is 3 servings) the good thing there is 9 grams pf protein in one serving D= about 2 oz of chicken and snow peas  I had 2 coffees today large dunkin donuts  1 ss ff hot coco  a handfull   lets say a cup of kashi go lean crunch  I took all my vits and drank about 44 oz of water  Hope tomorrow is better  SS

My day was more hectic than I planned.  I was out running errands today and planning to go to the gym when I realized today is the 25th and I had a job application (a different job from the one I applied for last week) to submit by 5 PM today.  EEK!  I had to run home and get everything together, so no time for the gym today. B: 1 can Instone protein pudding, 100 calories, 20g protein S: 1 venti decaf w/2 oz milk S2: Another venti decaf w/2 oz milk L: 3 tacos D: a handful of cashews and 1 taco S:  big mug of decaf (Folger's decaf single serve coffee bag) w/SF cinnamon dulce syrup My sister scolded me for eating tacos again today.  I just get into these food ruts, I guess!  Anyway, I'm trying out our new crockpot tomorrow and making crockpot taco chicken.  Kix

Hope Tuesday is better than Monday!  I hate crazy days when I want to eat everything I can find, and then some.  Thankfully, my pouch keeps me from straying too far afield.  Here's what was on my plate Monday -  

B - 1 c. 1% milk in my coffee, 1 packet Quaker weight control oatmeal

S #1 - 1 c. lowfat cottage cheese, 4 tbsp. SF preserves, ~1/2 c. sliced strawberries and blueberries

S #2 - 9 Quaker multi-grain minis, ~1 tbsp. natural peanut butter, 1 medium banana

[workout #1 - lower body strength training, core work for 1 hour]

L - WW SmartOnes salisbury steak w/ mac & cheese, salad w/ low-fat raspberry vinaigrette

S #3 - venti non-fat latte w/ sugar-free vanilla syrup

S #4 - 1 slice whole-wheat bread, 3 slices turkey, 1 slice low-fat cheese, alfalfa sprouts

[workout #2 - 5 minutes on stationary bike, 25 minutes on stairmaster, 30 minutes on rowing machine]

D - 1 serving Barilla Plus penne pasta, ~3/4 c. homemade meat sauce, ~1 1/2 c. salad, 1/2 oz. mozzarella shreds, 2 tbsp. light Catalina dressing (ate the salad first while I was waiting for the pasta to cook)

S #5 - 2 oz. slice of freshly baked Challah bread w/ 1/2 pat of butter (heavenly treat - I still love bread....)

Talk about a crazy day, I know just what you mean about eating your way to 4000 calories before, I know I would have on a day like this. I went to work in the AM only to leave a few hours later to take a very sick hubby to the DR. He has walking pneumonia. I got him his medicine and some lunch and went back to work. My MIL called that they were transferring my FIL to another hospital to do angioplasty that night. Suddenly at 1:00 she's calling telling me they are moving him at 1:30 and doing it at 2, so off I go to meet her at the hospital. He had 2 clogged arteries, one was 90% and the other 80%. Both were fixable and he's doing well, should go home today. Then last night the Tax guy came ... at least that was really good news! What a Monday! Pre B - SF NF Cinnamon Brown Sugar Latte B - ham, cheese, 3 RF triscuits S - SF Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa with 2 SF marshmellows L - chips & salsa, Steak Ranchero, a bite of beans and less than 1/4 of a corn tortilla S - almond crunch, bad choice out of the hospital vending machine, but hungry D - Homemade chicken soup S - sliced mangos
