I brought my cloths to go to the gym, I'm not sure if its going to be safe elliptical or tredmill but it will be 30 mins oif one of those machines , I hope to start with weights tonight. I missed my first apt with trainer and I havent been able to make one with him yet so i'm going to just throw myself to the wolves.

Hi, Kix. In case I haven't mentioned it lately, thanks for keeping the gym open. Posting here is one of the ways I stay accountable for my exercise, and I appreciate your efforts in keeping this going.
As for my plan for the day, I did lower body strength training and some core work at lunch. My lower back is sore, so I did less core work than usual. I don't know what's going on with my back - have tried adjusting my office chair, my car seat, my recliner at home, even how I'm sleeping, and it's still sore. Hopefully something will work soon, as I'm tired of having to take it easy.
I'm going back to the gym after work. I'm having an assessment done by one of the fitness folks. They'll weigh me, take measurements (biceps, chest, waist, hips, thighs, calves) and try to measure body fat, but that's not particularly accurate since I have so much excess skin. I think they'll also see how many sit-ups and push-ups you can do. Can't recall what else is involved, but it's pretty thorough. I try to do this about once a year so I can see what kind of progress I've made.
After my assessment, I'm planning to do an hour of cardio - probably elliptical and rowing machine. I did not go to the gym at all yesterday, so am feeling guilty today and wanting to stay on track...
