Another 12+hr day happening here, but so far its going fairly fast. I've been neck deep in all kinds of interesting information about plague all morning.
My food plan today is
B - 16oz mootopia, chai tea, honey
L - leftover chicken from last night
S - NSA taopica, clementine
S - v-8 or vegetable soup
S - marcona almonds, clementine
D - something small like a half quesadilla, very late tonight or more milk
What about you?
Ooh, plague! I'm not interested in the scientific end of it, but more from the epidemiologic/disease
investigation end.
I tossed out the open bag of pretzels and took the unopened one back to Wally's, so I think the house is safe once again.
B: 1 hamburger patty
E: 215 calories expended on mountain goat setting (10% incline) for 20 minutes. I didn't have time to do my full fat burning program on treadmill and I did not get my upper body strength training done. I set the alarm for 7 AM and slept right through it until 9 AM, putting me two hours behind.
L: two Atkins protein bars @ 300 calories, 22g protein
I'm making Jan's tasty soup for dinner tonight, so I'll update later.

I'm interested in both ends and the middle and anything to do with plague - today it was mostly the disease side of things, how Y. pestis causes disease and how it evades the immune system. Since this is for a biodefense class I am also talking about all the times plague has been used as a weapon, how best to weaponize it, and its significance as a biothreat. That was the more interesting reading, the other stuff I was familiar with because this is one of the organisms I work with (pestis, cholera, and tularemia).
Sounds like loads of fun! The Plague could be interesting reading.

Oh baby, that sounds exciting. Nothing better than a day spent learning about the plaque
. How's the cold?
I'm posting this now since I am going to an Air Force B-Ball game tonight. Had an ok day, except that those evil tootsie rolls were a factor. I ate only a small amount but now all I want to do is buy a bag and eat them all. One of the downfalls... have one, want many!
pre-workout snack: PB pudding
breakfast: fat free yogurt and a small banana
lunch: WW Homestyle Chicken with green beans
snack: atkins protein bar and a box of raisins
snack: atkins protein bar, 4 tootsie rolls
dinner: popcorn (yes, this is planned - it's kind of a thing that my mom and I do - I'm going to try to get some grilled chicken as well, depends on what they have at the game)
snack: my typical, granola bites
calories: 1942
Fat: 68
carbs: 277
fiber: 37
protein: 78
water: at least 100, maybe more later
Did fine except for the whole tootsie roll thing, plus a little low on protein. We'll see how I do the rest of today, I've been kind of hungry all day and having a hard time taming it.

The cold is present and accounted for. Thanks for asking
Its not a bad one, thank goodness. Mostly sore throat, a weeny little cough, and the blahs.

Well I decided to risk lots of student-based communicable diseases by getting a salad. I walked by the salad bar and it looked oddly good and vegetable-riffic, so I guess this will be my dinner:
romaine, cheese, egg, black olives, green bell pepper, kidney beans, onion and a couple of those deadly croutons, with italian dressing. I also bought a banana and a bottle of milk, so my meal plan has officially changed.
weider purepro shake
2oz chicken breast
1\2 red pepper in strips
sf applesauce
1 cup lentil soup
1\2 cup basmati rice
1 oz old cheddar
source yogurt

You are doing great, I don't think you eat any more that anyone else on here, and its funny because I feel the same way, like I am eating too much compared to other people. Its just mental.
And yeah I get caught in food ruts too - either i like something a lot because it settles great and tastes good, so I eat it for days in a row, or I eat so little of it that it takes days to fini**** and I eventually get sick of it and throw it out (or feed it to husband/cats)
