Happy Valentines Eve.  Any plans with your sweetie for V-day?  My plans are unknown.  Husband has an exam tomorrow, but I am taking a 4 day weekend.  I deserve it after putting in about 40hrs in 3 days (today will be 9am to midnight - some of that time will involve computer games though I think, or a book) I have another presentation today.  And I had to buy cookies.  Grumble. So back to the point of this post - what's on your menu?  I brought a lot of food to the lab so I have plenty of options, and I plan to eat a little more than usual today on account of the long day.

If the weather dude's prediction is correct, I will be spending V-Day shoveling lots and lots of snow. GRR. I don't have a sweetie.  I'd like one, but can't seem to meet anyone in my age demographic that isn't a soccer dad.  So far today, I have eaten: B: 1 Instone pudding and 1 EAS protein drink @220 calories, 37g protein I'll add the rest later. Kix ============================== Here's the rest of my noshing today: E: killer treadmill x 40 minutes = 270 calories expended     lower body work for 40 minutes, I'll credit 100 calories expended L:  3 crunchy tacos from Taco Bell (boy, were they good, but caloric) 500 calories, 24g protein D:  big azz salad (last one, the lettuce is all gone now) @ 500 calories, 27g protein       handful of raw cashews, probably around 250 calories' worth Totals:  1470 calories - 370 calories expended = 1100 calories, at least 88g protein Kix

I really forgot Valentines was coming up until someone left a dish of chocolate hearts on my desk for everyone to share. So you can imagine how my day has gone eating wise - ugh. But, things are looking up and I have a date tonight. This means nothing good for my food intake, since it's at a bar and you know how bar food is. Hopefully something decent. pre-workout snack: PB pudding breakfast: 2 eggs, fried in Pam spray lunch: package of cheese and crackers, 1c. of honey nut cheerios (yeah, great lunch) snack: atkins breakfast bar snack: atkins breakfast bar, 1 oz. ham dinner: unknown bar food that will be a zillion calories not sure about total since dinner is an unknown but I was close to 1700 calories before dinner and including my evening snack. I've been doing better with my fat content too. By the way, I'm totally bummed you aren't coming this spring! Hopefully another time?

Hi ya QT, Today was a snow day we all stayed home and slept in.  I picked and snacked alot today but I didnt really eat a meal, I don't know why I do that but it seems to happen alot more at home or on weekends then when i'm busy, Plus I have a terrible time not picking when I cook.  I made a no crust quiche that i picked at for most of the morning then I had a  few bites of my daughters ww english muffin with pb little bit later I had a few bites of my DHs pb muffin then I made eggplant parm for dinner which i ate a few bites of Dhs and a few bites of daughters I never made a plate of food of my own all day. Then I had a few handfulls of cheerios,  So i'm pretty sure I didnt get close to enough pro way to many carbs and who knows how much fat.  I did do my home elliptical machine for 20 mins and cleaned the kitchen and bathroom from top to bottom. Everything I do is better with a schedule but i'm terrible about making one and I have all this anxiety about being able to keep on one lol  I just can't win  Whew that felt good!  lol Thanks SS

LOL that's right, let it all out Sunshine!  I have a hard time not picking when I cook.  I don't think I truly realized how bad it was until after surgery when I would pick while I cooked and then be too full to eat anything when it was ready.  I am working on that, but sometimes its kind of mindless - you are tasting it to make sure its seasoned right and then a few bites later you've eaten 100 calories.  I definitely do better with a plan - but I am not good about making one and I am also afraid I won't stick to it and then I'll have extra guilt.  Yeah I'd estimate you weren't even close on protein hehe, but great  job on the exercise and cleaning.  I plan to clean heavily for the next 4 days.  Today was crazy but hopefully I'll exercise tomorrow.  Oh!  I was sooo excited this morning, I found hundreds of hair sprouts.  I'm going to have a halo of fuzz when they start growing out.
