Thanks Marge!  We call them baby making hips :)  I hope so, since I'm so short, I worry that babies will get stuck trying to come out!  I don't know if I look younger, but if other people say so, I'll take it! (But then its not like anyone is going to say "holy crap you look so much WORSE now" when you post these pictures hehe).

Happy Anniversary Jen!  You look amazing!  I wish now I had taken before pictures....they show just how dramatic the changes really are.

I didn't take a formal "before" picture, but that HORRIBLE picture was taken Christmas 2006 - a family photo.  When I was actually cropping it, I made it a panoramic picture because I wanted to cut off my bottom half.  I still had the original though, and I remember how mortified I was about it.  I never let anyone take full-body pictures, and besides that my hair looked stupid too LOL.  It is nice to have something as a base for comparison.  Every month I take a new set from the front sides and back so I can follow my progress.  I will scrapbook the whole journey at some point.  Its hard to see the changes in the mirror, but looking at pictures, even of just your face, makes a BIG difference towards seeing how you've changed.  Thanks for the comment, and you could always start taking pictures now for when you feel like things aren't changing or changing fast enough.  They help.

Thanks!  I hope the loss stays steady - there is a slow-down around 6 months, and I'm seeing it, but its the stalls that are REALLY tough to handle mentally.  If I lose 10 lbs a month for another 12 month or so (LOL at that possibility) I'll eventually get to goal (175lbs) which is still 50 over my "ideal weight"  - I would be thrilled to just see a 1 in front of my weight though, honestly.  Its so different starting as big as I did - some people who had surgery the same month as me are at goal now.  I'm now where their starting weight was and I feel pretty good about how I look - but for them, for whatever reasons, my current weight was high enough for them to want surgery.  I try not to think about it too much because it makes me a little bit sad to think how far gone I really was.

Haha, thank goodness I don't look much like my dad.  He's a short, broad, redhead - very stocky.  He's not bad looking, if you favor bulldogs or men who look like Grizzly Adams.  I just don't think I'd look good with a beard
