Thanks :) You'll be hearing the same things really soon! I am proud of myself, and I am incredibly grateful to see a better life ahead of me instead of just continuing downhill to a heart attack or stroke, arthritis, mobility problems, diabetes, etc. This experience hasn't been a walk in the park, but it was the smartest decision I've ever made.
umm not really sure what the complaint is about!! 93 lbs since surgery? 128 in total? so and i'm not a maths person but, isn't that 21+ lbs per month? i'm not sure i'm understanding the complaint.
and by the way, you look mavelous dahlink!!
starting BMI 60.8+
lost 126 lbs since November 10th and still dropping...Surgery Dec. 10th
BMI currently 42.2

How does "but I can't complain" sound like a complaint? Its 15 lbs per month since surgery. And I'm not complaining - but according to the OH weight loss estimator I should be 40lbs lighter. I think the estimator is not a good predictor and wouldn't recommend it.
You are truely the "Cute One" what size jeans are you in? maybe I could send you some? man you look good! did you wear jeans before? I didn't, these are really good pics! Oh and was that outside today? thats just not fair . we had a snow storm today lol you know you look 19 or maybe 20 years old. i'm so jealous!
Congrats QT

Thanks SS :) Those jeans are 30s, I fit in 26 stretch denim, 28 non-stretch and some other 26 pants - haven't bought any keep hoping the baggy pants will stay up until I am in 24s. I'm still pretty huge, just not circus huge anymore. I'm almost halfway to goal though. LOL@ "good pics" because I thought I looked so tired today - so I didn't want to post at first. And yeah, it was about 70 and sunny here today.
I walked in the park for 80 minutes or so - vitamin D and all.
The thing that freaks me out is that every month I look more and more like my mom. Its not a bad thing, I just didn't realize how much the resemblance would show once I was losing weight.

I have my mother's forehead, which I discovered one day when I was getting my hair cut and the stylist pulled the hair off my forehead to trim it. Now, my mother was smokin' hot, but all I got was the forehead, which is not so smokin'
You look terrific, and your legs aren't harboring extra fat. How awesome is that! I'd have to wear jeans two sizes too big in the waist to accommodate Thighgantor and his spouse Thighgantorina. Since I've been doing killer treadmill, the fat is starting to shift in odd ways, kind of like a big ol lava lamp.

PS: I forgot to mention that we also name cars in our family. We have done this since the 60s.

Thanks Kix,
My mom was also smokin' hot when she as in her teens and 20s, and she's not half bad now, so I don't mind if I end up looking like her. Her curves still look really good, even after losing 100lbs or so, but she's also 8 inches taller than me and an hourglass. I will probably always be stocky looking, like my dad who is short and broad. I am still hoping for her butt! Is it wrong to think your mom has a great butt? Probably, but that doesn't mean its not true.
My thighs are doing ok, the butt/tummy/thigh area is definitely more resistant to losing weight but so far I'm fairly proportionate, as long as I don't try to wear a business jacket. A jacket that fits my hips is waaay too wide on top. Hopefully that will even out some in time.
So what is your current car's name?
You can really see a difference - lookin' hot! (i'm sure that hubby would agree
)
The thing about your mom cracked me up - I came across an old picture of my mom a couple of months ago and was shocked to be looking at 'myself!' I've always been overweight and had no idea I had the same body type as my mom, but I just looked at the picture and saw my body and face on my mom. Bizarre! I put the picture up on my bulletin board and I am still startled when I look at it!
