Hi everyone! I hope the Chinese New Year brings you luck, health, fortune and new skinnier clothing sizes. Edit : tomorrow I hope you find luck, health, fortune, and skinnier clothes. Today, too bad, you get nothing and like it :)
So what did you eat today? I've done well so far, no brownies in sight and I resisted the cookies and chocolate on hand in class today. Wednesday sucks. I present in there next week and I am going to have to bring some kind of terrible health food to torture them for a change. Any recipes?
Hummm, what do you say on Ash Wednesday? I know most Catholics fast today.
Chinese New Year is tomorrow, It's a day for Red Envelopes and Feasting. I'll take a Red envelope please ...lol!
Pre B - SF NF Carmel Latte
B - cottage cheese and Splenda peaches
S - Greek yogurt with black and blueberries and Kay's Natural Cereal added in
L -Bumble bee FF tuna kit, not all the crackers though, had some rice crackers instead

D - Beef veggie crock pot stew is cooking at home, Stew meat and zucchini, yellow squash, carrots and cabbage.

Oops for some reason I thought Chinese New Year was today - I think Estelle mentioned it.
My boss and her husband didn't come in today so I thought "it must be because its New Years"

I did mention it, lol We are going to a party tonight so I can collect my red envelope lol
My boss is Chinese and he took most of today off so I think maybe its celebrated like ours on the eve of?
I have no idea what my food is going to be like tonight so here is what I had so far today its awfull though lol
b= coffee and 1/2 an egg sandwhich no bread but man was it greasy!
L= this thing from the pizza place called catania bread it was like a calzone with ham and salami with mozz cheese of course I only had like 3 bites and felt like I was going to explode, then once that passed I had another bite! lol
then a skinny mocha latte from starbucks
D= what ever meat ball in water floats my way tonight lol
we are going to have another storm tonight maybe the kids will have a snow day! I love when they stay home iots so much easier just getting myself out the door lol

Here's my food for today -
B - 16oz mootopia
L - 1 oz vanilla baked almonds, 1 turkey lunchables jr. and 1 promise activ super shot (strawberry)
S - chocolate fiber one bar (oh my, I LIKE - definitely will buy again, 10g of sugar though)
D - 4 turkey meatballs in cranberry chili sauce, 1 SF chocolate mint pudding cup (also delicious)
My sweet tooth is really bad today. I started aunt flo and I'm thinking that has to be the problem for the last few days because I WANT CHOCOLATE! Notice the lack of vegetables - I need some veggies tomorrow.
Calories - 898
Fat - 48g
Carbs - 73g
Fiber - 15g
Protein - 80g
Today hit pretty much exactly where I like to be - under 1000 calories, 75-85g protein, under 100 carbs, under 50 fat and at least 15g fiber (I prefer to aim for 20-25 but at minimum I try for 15). Its rare that the numbers all end up where I aim, especially without planning.
Here's what was on my plate Wednesday -
B - 1 c. 1% milk in my coffee, 1 packet Quaker weight control oatmeal
S #1 - 1 cup lowfat cottage cheese, 4 tbsp. sugar-free preserves
S #2 - 1 large navel orange [workout #1 - upper body strength training and core work]
L - Healthy Choice Cafe Steamer - chicken w/ basil (new item for me; was yummy & I'll definitely buy it again)
S #3 - venti non-fat latte w/ sugar-free vanilla syrup
S #4 - 1 slice whole-wheat bread, 3 slices turkey, 1 slice low-fat cheese, 1/2 serving pretzels
[workout # - 35 minutes on elliptical trainer, 10 minutes on upright bike - my back was bothering me and I didn't want to pu****
D - 12 oz. turkey chili, 1/2 oz. cheddar cheese shreds, 3/4 c. cantaloupe
