Monday Weigh In!!!
Yeah, it's easy to lose with the protein drinks, and it's hard not to rely on them exclusively because I like seeing the scale move downwards. I just need to quit eating tasty carbs. Ah, if it were only that easy!
I had a good workout today, and limited my carbs to a serving of mashies at dinner, so we'll see if the scale begins to cooperate!
I'm glad it isn't just me. I feel alone enough as it is when I go to WLS support group and some folks there can't stop losing (
), and here I am, so close to my goal, and yet so far (isn't that a song?)

Kix, The nurse at my Surgeons office had rny about 5 years ago and I don't know how much she weighs but she looks pretty good, we talked for awhile when I went in for my 3 month and she said when she finds she is gaining a little and things are slipping for her she does medifast for a couple weeks and it puts her back on track, (I don't think she is big into the exercise though) Now I didn't ask the doc about it and I would before I ever did it but it seems to be working ok for her.

I'm on all protien for the next couple of days. January has sucked when it comes to weight loss. only 6lbs the entire month. I am 4 months out and have only lost 102lbs. No wonder I could not loose without RNY I get so frustrated I want to eat everything in sight.
All I want is to be 200lbs Heck thats not even thin!!!!!
I know I know eat your protien drink your water exercise!!!!!! It still sucks. So I am off food for a few days only protien shakes and water. See if I can get a jump start on this. I want to be 350 by Feb 29

i know it's frustrating, but I think a little reality check is in order - you lost 102 POUNDS IN 4 months!!! When was the last time you did that? That is phenomenal and way ahead of most people at 4 months. Sometimes it's easy for us to have these pre-disposed ideas of how much and how fast we should lose. Just tell yourself you are in this for the long haul and start to take deep breaths when you get frustrated - it happens, just not always in our time frame!
All of us go through this. It's so much fun to see the fast loss at first, then when it slows down we can freak out, big time! All of us have gone through it and know exactly how it feels. Just slow down, don't get too concerned and try to enjoy the journey! (I know, easier said than done, but you can do it!)

Thanks for opening up the scales. I hope that Marge is back soon as well.
I spent most of Saturday setting up my new computer, transferring files, and such. It takes such a LONG time to do that. My old desktop will go to my daughter. I needed something with more preformance. Sunday, we ran errands and had our Sunday night Bible study group over.

Hey there lady, good to see you! I know exactly how it feels to transfer everything to a new computer, I just did that last spring - lord, what a pain! And half of my stuff had died with my old computer so I lost a whole bunch of pictures and recipes that I loved. I now back up all the time!
Things kind of creep to a slow halt after a year, don't they? I've noticed that although I have slowed down in my losing, I am losing inches - have you noticed your clothes fitting differently? Everyone keeps telling me that I've lost more weight lately but I guess it's the fat turning to muscle. I imagine you might be doing the same - I just keep thinking about Kellie and how she has continued to lose at over 2 years out and I'm pretty encouraged that this isn't a done deal yet!
You'll get to that 180 range - the way you exercise I have no doubt!!
