Good morning, Kix. Let's not compare notes on how much we ate this weekend... I'm thankful the Super Bowl only happens once a year!!!! Today's a 2-a-day for me - lower body strength training and core work at lunch, then cardio after work. Here's my lower body strength training routine in case anyone's interested - Warm-up for 5 minutes on the bike step-ups - 20 reps per side leg press - 20 reps @ 135#, 16 reps @ 140#, 12 reps @ 145# hip abductor - 20 reps @ 60#, 16 reps @ 65#, 12 reps @ 70# hip adductor - 20 reps @ 95#, 16 reps @ 100#, 12 reps @ 105# ball squats - 12x3 holding 4 kg. medicine ball plie squats - 15x3 holding 15# dumbbell stationary lunges - 12x2 per side holding 7.5# dumbbell in each hand Core work includes - back machine - 20x2 @ 60# ab machine - 25x2 @ 45# my version of sit-ups - 15x3 (knees bent, palms on lower thigh, lift up w/ abs until palm**** knees) supermans - 25x1 per side planks/hovers - 4 @ 30 seconds per hold This routine takes me about an hour as long as I can get the machines/equipment I need. I've been doing it for about a month now and already noticing a difference in my lower body. Will be interested to see how much of a difference it makes in 3-4 months... Kellie
