Shopping for a new scale - help!!

I posted this on the main board too, but I thought the over 50 bmi crowd might be able to help me find a high-capacity scale that I can *afford* that will weigh me NOW (pre-op) - at 423. I am trying to lose 40 lbs before surgery, and I need to be able to weigh myself to know if I'm on track. I can't really afford to spend hundreds of dollars. Does anyone have any experience with this one?

Or, can anyone recommend something comparable (with a comparable or higher weight capacity) scale in the $100-ish dollar range or less?

Thanks!!

I bought the scale I have 3 years ago and it works great to this day!  It is a 550lb capacity scale and also has a feature to where you can either have the scale tell you what you weigh or you can just read it ... I was 509lbs so it was very nice having a scale I didnt have to look down at, I just turn on that little voice thingy and she tells me my weight.  Here is a site where you can order it.  I highly reccommend it. Thank you sooooooo much, Becky!! That scale looks even better than what I was looking at. I had a feeling I should ask here before I decided. Thanks a million!!

This is the same scale that I have and I really like it.  You can order it through ebay via the same company and get it for less.

I really like the Tanita scales.  They seem to be more accurate for me, and my bariatric surgeon recommends them as well.  I used to have the http://www.tanita.com/DigitalScales.shtml HD 351 when I was 375 + and it worked well.  About 6 months ago, I bought the http://www.tanita.com/BodyFat_BodyWater.shtml BF681W scale and like that I can track my hydration level as well as my body fat level.  I've found that this has helped me to understand better that I might not get to a weight of 140ish lbs, but have set a goal based on body fat instead since I have a large muscle mass.   I bought my scales online through Amazon.com.  You can find Tanita scales at Bed Bath and Beyond as well.
