Hiya -
Happy Friday - I hope everyone is happy and healthy and ready for the weekend. I'm not because it just means Monday's committee meeting is that much closer. BOO! I'm still a little unprepared but that should be solved by the end of the day.
My new camera lens came in yesterday and it was hard to work instead of play. Then, ironically, I ended up taking about 200 pictures last night with my other lens and hardly used the new one. Its more of an outside lens. I'm hoping for a zoo excursion or something this weekend to put her through the motions. That human body exhibit with all the preserved cadavors is here but no cameras allowed. We still plan to go, but probably on a weekday when it won't be busy.
Food-wise I ended up not eating much for dinner last night after all, I wasn't hungry particularly. I had some left-over sweet potato (added a little SF vanilla syrup) with some slivered almonds for a little protein, but I came in short of both my calorie and protein goals. Hopefully today will be better in the protein department. I was so hungry for several days and now its calmed down (and I started losing more vigorously again). Listening to my body is still kind of an alien concept, but I'm a tryin!
So what did you/will you eat today?
Breakfast was 1/4 cup cottage cheese mixed with 1/4 cup strawberry lite yogurt and about 1/2 cup coffee.
Snack LOL 16 0z water
Lunch - 1/3 cup tuna with light mayo
2 thin slices turkey rolled up with thin provolone cheese
5 Fat free Pringles...I know..didn't need these!
Now: 6 oz water with 33 grams protein powder (lemonade flavor)
Dinner will be a 4" mini mushroom pizza
Snack: 1/4 cup almonds
Will get in another 48 oz water between 2:15pm & bedtime

TGIF - I've been ready for the weekend since Monday, and am glad it has finally arrived! I'm planning to meet my workout buddy at the gym tomorrow around noon, then run a few errands and head home. I'm going to a Super Bowl party on Sunday and my household's contribution will be the bakery and sweets. I still love to bake, so am delighted when I have an opportunity to bake for a crowd. Sometimes I eat a little of what I make, but often I don't. I just like the process of baking...
Anyway, here's what I've eaten so far today and my plan for the rest of the day.
B - 1 c. 1% milk in my coffee, 1 packet Quaker weight control oatmeal
S #1 - 1 cup lowfat cottage cheese, 4 tbsp. sugar-free preserves
S #2 - 1 medium banana
[workout #1 - upper body strength training, core work]
L - WW SmartOnes salisbury steak w/ mac & cheese, ~ 1/2 cup green beans
S #3 - venti non-fat latte w/ sugar-free vanilla syrup
S #4 - 1 slice whole-wheat bread, 3 slices turkey, 1 slice low-fat cheese
[plan for workout #2 - 50-60 minutes of cardio]
D - complete unknown - maybe another frozen meal, maybe Chinese, maybe leftover chili, maybe leftover steak w/ broccoli
S #5 - 100 calorie Klondike Slim-A-Bear fudge bar

After a few hungry days I dropped a few pounds, but I'm not hungry today. Strange how the body acts.
We've got a huge Super Bowl Party on Sunday and it's always fun. I'm taking a cheese tray and some stuffed mushrooms (WLS friendly).

I went over on calories today but I also did really good on protein so I'm not very disturbed by it, although I did not exercise (unless you count dropping your laptop on your big toe and then hopping around cursing for a while - ouchies it still hurts and it was even worse because my feet were cold and numb at the time).
B - 3 of shelly's fiesta bites - if I figure it right that is almost 400 calories, but also 35g protein, 8oz mootopia
L - quesadilla and half an apple - 1 whole grain tortilla, 1/2cup spinach, 1/4 cup mozzarella, and 1/4 left over browned ground beef
S - chocolate vitamuffin
D - tostada - 1 corn tortilla with 1/2cup beans, 1/4 cup ground beef, 1/4 cup cheese and 2 tbsp salsa baked in the oven
Calories - 1190
Fat 44g
Carbs 103g
Fiber 21g
Protein 105g (wow, first time I broke 100!)
Hey QT,
We were snowed in most of the day, Both my kids schools wre closed so I went to work really early and worked for about 3 hours. then met a friend for breakfast and drove home in a snow storm but I was close to home so it wasnt to bad.
B=2 eggs scrambled I didnt finish them all
L= about 2 oz of meatloaf
s=crackers
d=my home made sausage soup
and by the end of the day I almost ate a whole piece of cake (bite here bite there)
I just cant be cooped up at home all day or I go crazy. lol damn ice storms!
Since every time I try to add the calories with that soup I dont think its right so i'm gonna skip that part!
