Did Anyone See "Big Medicine" This Week?

I watch this program every week, mostly so I can feel jealous of the folks who get plastic surgery when they haven't even been a year out from WLS. I was watching last night and one fellow was on who needed plastic surgery because of the two edemous blobs on his legs.  I perked right up.  That's exactly what Blobby was!  It was interesting to watch how the surgery was done -- obviously, I was out cold during my surgery so I had no idea exactly how Blobby was removed.   Anyway, I just wanted to mention that if you saw this episode, you now know what Blobby looked like and why I am so grateful he went to Blobby Heaven.  I can't imagine having two of those -- one was bad enough. I watched it. I felt for that poor guy. It looked painful. Glad you both are rid of your 'blobbies'! I love watching the show! I think that the son is a lil cutie pie!

I felt so bad for that guy! I'm so glad that your blobby went away and that now you can enjoy and active life. I hope the same thing for this man. I found the segment interesting about the woman who was gaining weight, and that her pouch and anastamosis hadn't enlarged - she was just over eating and eating the wrong things. It helps me to realize that we will always battle with these things, and that we MUST stay diligent! I was also moved by Tristian and his desire to be a firefighter. I hope that he will one day be a fireman!

I will say that was one of my favorite episodes. It had a little bit for everyone. I love big medicene because it deals with the super morbidly obese too not jut the obese.  The blobbys look painful and I am glad yours kix went to blobby heaven. I also agree that Dr. Garth Davis is HOT.

Dr. Garth is HOT!!! Those guys are awesome, as soon as they knew that guys insurance was gonna drop him, they scheduled the surgery right away. Did you guys also notice that his wife just had the surgery 2 mos ago and she was chowing down on all that fried food and mac and cheese and crap she probably isn't supposed to be having. I felt so bad for him, he had to drink that shake and they didn't even care.

Darn, I missed that the new season had started. Gotta set the DVR so I don't miss any more.
