Gym is Open (Friday 2/1)

The gym is open! I plan to do killer treadmill.  It's leg day today, so I'll be working those leg muscles. What did you do to move your body today? Kix

I'm so impressed, you are doing so well with your exercise! You will have Leeza Gibbons legs before you know it Today was long run day, but get this... I added .1 to my 3.6 and ran 3.7 miles! Wow, can you feel the excitement?? Yeah, neither can I   I would of made it to 4 miles if my stomach hadn't kicked into gear, so I'll settle for 3.7. That damn 4 miles is so elusive. Ok, that's it for my sarcasm - I'm just so happy it's Friday that I'm feeling a little giddy. Another long week almost done. Tomorrow I am snowshoeing all day with my brand new snowshoes that I just bought last night!! Woohoo!! Next time it snows in Denver it will be you and me hitting one of the parks - you've got to try it at least once and since your legs are in such good shape, you won't have any problem!

Count me in with you and Kix for working on legs.  I am so trying to get my legs (calves) to be smaller.  I do a lot of flutter kicks in the pool to help with that.   I cannot even imagine snowshoeing!  Have a great day with that tomorrow - and let us know how it went.  WOW!

LOL I read that wrong - before long you will have Gibbon's legs.  I was thinking - are those better than basset hound legs?

Morning Kix, I just got home from the pool.  1 hour of really hard water aerobics for me.  I think I overwhelemed a bunch of these ladies.  I will be teaching on Friday's again, so I may have to adjust my workouts, and they will also have to adjust what they are used to.  It is a two way street.  I did have several ladies who were new and really enjoyed today's workout as well.  There were 16 in the class, which is good size for a cold winter morning.  In the summer, we run 25 easy each morning.

Hi, Kix!  Kudos to you for sticking with that killer treadmill routine; way to go!  You'll be in shape to go showshoeing with PJ soon, soon, soon -  I did my upper body strength training and core routine at lunch today, and I'll go back for 50-60 minutes of cardio after work.  I wasn't able to go to the gym Thursday at all, so definitely want to get in two sessions today.   Good luck to everyone finding the time, motivation, and energy to move it today!!! Kellie
