Who Floats Your Boat?

I'm talking about those celebrity boyfriends or girfriends we all secretly lust after. My movie star boyfriend is Alan Rickman.  I'm just waiting for him to dump that sea hag he's been with for 30 years, come to Denver long enough to sweep me off my feet, and take me back to London where we can live happily ever after!  My second movie star boyfriend is Colin Firth.  He is also welcome to come to Denver and sweep me off my feet, but I believe he is married to a stunning and intelligent Italian woman, so I have my work cut out for me. My sister and I were watching one of the Jane Austin installments on Masterpiece Theater, and she commented that the male lead was attractive.  Frankly, he looked like a pipsqueak to me, and I said he couldn't possibly hold a candle to Alan Rickman in "Sense and Sensibility."  She then countered that Colin Firth was outstanding in "Pride and Prejudice."  Oy, what a dilemma!  Which one to choose?  Ha, I'd take them both! Gerard Butler - you can't beat a Scottish accent and that man is smokin'! Daniel Craig - even my husband can't fault me on that one, he just looks away while I stare at the TV My new crush is Javier Bardim (even though he was uber-creepy in No Country for Old Men) - edit I spelled his name wrong (he should spank me LOL).  Its Javier Bardem. *droool*

I'm not familiar with Javier Bardem's work, but I did see a photo of him in a magazine that made me stop and go, "Whoa!"  We haven't seen "No Country for Old Men" yet. Kix

I am a avid lover of Colin Firth. I watch the teen movie of" what a girl wants "just to see him. he really  melts my butter. i am also quite fond of Jeromy Irons his accent and voice makes me crazy. He played suspected wife muderder Claus Von Bulow in revesal of fourtune and I still loved him.  Now if I am just going for staight sex appeal I like Mathew MConahey or Antonio Bandares I fell I am going into menopause any time they are on the screen

Matthew McConahey looks like he never showers.  I will agree with you about Antonio Banderas, although I like his voice more than his look since he's started slicking back his hair. I love your doxie.  We have a red longhaired doxie who is quite a handful.  He knows he's the boss of us. Kix

Hmmm Antonio does NOTHING for me.  Never has.  He is one of those people that I never understood people liking.  The same for Fabio.  Matt McC has a nice body but I agree - shower!

I bat for the other team most of the time, if you get my drift, so my field is a bit more open than some others posted here.  In no particular order -  Linda Hamilton in Terminator 2 - she was just so well toned and she has beautiful eyes Vin Diesel in pretty much anything.  Of course, I think he bats for the other team as well, so no real hope there.   Sean Connery - I know, old enough to be my grandfather.  But he just continues to get better with age.   Angelina Jolie - her face is amazing - very symmetrical, which is one of the "keys" to being found beautiful Johnny Depp, but only when he's playing somewhat rough characters, like in Pirates Jake Gyllenhaal and Maggie Gyllenhaal - these two are amazing Okay, that's it for me - next up?

Boyfriends or girlfriends, we don't discriminate here! In my next life, I plan to come back looking exactly like Angelina Jolie (well, maybe without all the tattoos).  She is beyond beautiful. Sean Connery also floats my sister's boat, but I don't get it.  He did look smokin' hot in "Hunt for Red October," but that's about it.  I never found him sexy as James Bond. Kix

You gotta love an equal opportunity forum I think part of my thing about Sean Connery relates to his voice - he just sounds hot!!!

Sean Connery is old but I agree, still hot.  Paul Newman, Clint Eastwood, Robert Redford were all aging super well until they ruined it with plastic surgery.  The Gyllenhaals are both hot - have you seen her ads for Agent Provacateur?  If I was batting for the other team she'd be on my list along with Cate Blanchett.
