Thanks. I've talked to him about it already (last time and this time). He still doesn't think its serious but he had them call in a prescription for a different acid medication to see if that helps. Otherwise do what I did last time to get over it, liquids then bland foods. I have an appointment with him tomorrow which may or may not lead to a scope.

Thanks! This time its a little different - I tried a different B complex last night and it really bugged my stomach. I had acid reflux!? I hardly ever had that even before surgery. I went to sleep unhappy and woke up unhappy. I drank a bunch of water and tea this morning, felt better, and then had a few bites of chicken and felt bad again. I think it probably is a case of pouch irritation.
Now I know why CVS had those vitamins buy 1 get one free!
You tell that grouchy pouch to know that crap off. Our girl needs to feel better NOW. Did you try some of Kix's papaya enzymes?
Believe it or not, my pouch gets grouchy if I don't feed it often enough. If I wait too long between meals, or get distracted and forget to eat on time (almost never happens), my pouch will cramp up after I eat a few bites. It takes 10-15 minutes for it to ease up, but then it feels better and I can finish my meal. Anyway, I hope you find some relief soon. Here's what I've done today and my plan for the rest of the day:
B - 1 c. 1% milk, 1 packet Quaker weight control oatmeal
S #1 - 1 cup cottage cheese, 4 tbsp. sugar-free preserves, 1/2 c. fresh blueberries

[workout #1 - lower body strength training, core work]
L - Weigh****cher's Smart Ones salisbury steak w/ mac and cheese, 3/4 c. steamed veggies
S #3 - venti non-fat latte w/ sugar-free vanilla syrup
S #4 - 1 slice whole-wheat bread, 3 slices turkey, 1 slice low-fat cheese, 1/2 c. alfalfa sprouts, 2 clementines
[plan for workout #2 - 10 minute warm-up on bike, 20-25 minutes on stair stepper, 25-30 minutes on rowing machine]

I did try papaya enzymes - I think I felt better once the offending chicken salad moved low enough down my intestines... I could feel the peristalsis waves and then suddenly everything was ok again. The papaya may have helped, I dunno. It couldn't hurt, and they taste good.

Awwww I hope your feeling better! I am, Let me just say Dulcolax works! lol
Do you take an acid reducer evryday? I do They said it was mandatory for 6 months to prevent ulcers. My hubby broke his foot and is out of work for 8 weeks, he didn't hurt it at work so no comp :( But we live in NY so there is automatic disability , I duno how it works but I know its only 60% of pay, So Like my mom used to say it may be a hamburger month! lol

I am feeling better - I got 16oz milk with ovaltine down and it settled ok. No more pain, just sort of uncomfortable - a lot like last time actually. I'm skipping vitamins today since that's what started it. I took an acid reducer for the first 4 months, docs orders. Then I stopped because I was low on iron and acid reducers don't help with iron absorption. I started back on prilosec about 3 weeks ago last time I had this pain. It doesn't sound like an ulcer judging by other people's accounts, its not a stricture. My guess, if it is even anything at all, would be a hernia or bowel obstruction or my good friends adhesions. I am leaning towards grouchy pouch/poop/gas issues though. I see him early tomorrow morning, I'll let you know what he says.
Glad you are feeling better and dulcolax took care of ya! I've eaten lunchables several times - I usually eat all the meat and about half the cheese and crackers. I don't think you are weird, unless I'm weird too. Ok maybe you are weird.
Good job on the water! I've had soooo much hot tea today, probably bad but soothing so there.
Dunny, some of those vitamins are really icky. A friend of mine actually thought she was pregnant because she horked every morning. Turned out her vitamins were upsetting her stomach (she isn't a WLS alum). I use chewables from Bariatric Advantage for that reason, I don't want some offending vitamin getting lodged into gastric nook and causing all sorts of annoyances.
