Hello all my fellow RNY'ers!

Right, let me get right to it!

What is a "liquid"?

If I drink 32 oz of decaf tea and one cup of skim milk...is any of that a liquid?  Is water "tainted by Crystal Lite a liquid?

can only straight up water qualify as a liquid?  Honestly I am not being a smart alec I really am confused by this: liquids, water etc.

I look to all of you as the final and highest authorities!!

According to my nutritionist, any decaf liquid can count towards you liquids every day including crystal light and milk.  Some people only coun****er, but unless its tea or coffee, I count it.

You may get a variety of answers on this one, but the way I look at it is:  if you can drink it, it's a liquid.  If water tainted by Crystal Light isn't a liquid, then I should be dead of dehydration by now! Kix

I agree with the other gals.  I was told ALL liquids qualify (even soup broth) BUT.....I'm supposed to make at least 70% of i****er (or water based fluids such as tea or flavored water)  No question is too crazy....keep em coming!! LOL   Jeanine

My surgeon suggests going on the medifast diet. It is a strictly liquid diet but it has a bunch of protein and vitamins
