Hi Guys,
Here's today's post. I will post my totals later.. I'm feeling a little better today, still not right though. I went to GNC and bought papaya (Kix) and so far it hasn't cured what ails me, but the GasX strips I also bought MIGHT have helped. I'm a gurgle-riffic girl this afternoon.
Hope this finds everyone well and happy!

B - I made this insanely good omelet for my husband, with prosciutto, onion, red bell pepper, and mozzarella cheese - it was enormous (4 eggs) because I figured I'd have some. I ended up having about 1 egg's worth and was stuffed to the gills but it settled better than anything in several days and was just so good. I was hoping he wouldn't fini**** so I could save some for lunch.
L - grande skinny cinnamon dolce latte (non-fat, sugar free)
S - 3 dark chocolate truffles, handful of marcona almonds
D - Thai restaurant - bowl of veggie soup (insanely good, one of my favorite foods on the planet) and a rather tiny chicken spring roll that made me dump from the oil - so that answers the question of whether I dump from oil - I also had 2 chunks of mango from husband's dessert
S - 16 oz mootopia w/ SF vanilla syrup (maybe, otherwise I'll be short on protein)
As far as numbers, I have to estimate on the Thai but I doubt the soup has more than maybe 50 calories, and I'm calling the spring roll half of an egg roll.

Oh, Sunshine, to answer your question from yesterday, mootopia is the best product ever made. Its from a texas chain of grocery stores called HEB and its a high protein lactose-free nonfat milk (also comes in whole milk or chocolate).
8 oz has 14g protein, and its also got 60% more calcium and vitamin D than regular milk (or something like that) - it tastes a little bit more bland than milk and I have to put something in it most of the time or I can't seem to drink it before it gets warm, but its soooo much better than a protein shake! I wish they had HEB everywhere! It also makes a really good high protein NSA hot chocolate, or if I add NSA carnation instant breakfast to 16 oz it makes a 33g protein drink. Its kind of pricey, so I make my husband drink regular milk, but I usually finish 2 half gallon containers every week or so.
Are you going to be getting your Cobra pretty soon? I just hope that whatever is bothering you will go away soon, or at least you can get in to get it checked. Just take care of yourself, ok?
It was a good day - no emotional break downs, which is always nice
. Having little treats throughout the day have helped curve my cravings and I feel a whole lot better about my eating choices.
pre-workout snack: peanut butter pudding
breakfast: 2 atkins protein bars (I FINALLY got paid today and will be able to afford other food - I was getting kind of tired of protein bars but they were the only thing in my house!)
snack: a cup of hot chocolate
snack: Chocolate mousse yogurt and 3 chocolate kisses
snack: apple, 2 butter cookies and 3 pretzel sticks
dinner: WW Homestyle Chicken with green beans
snack: 2 cups of honey nut cheerios
snack: 3 bags of granola bites

Hm, wonder why the papaya isn't helping? It's supposed to be the thing for digestive ailments. I take it religiously. When I'm feeling particularly gross, I chew three tablets, let them sit for about ten minutes, then chew three more, let them sit, then chew three more.
Sorry for leading down a dead end. Maybe what you need to do is make all sorts of rude noises like I do, and you'll feel better. I especially like being able to belch like an eight year old boy. I do it just to make my sister mad.

Well I am slowly and steadily feeling better (except for stupid dumping) so they might have helped. I was going to chew a few more before bed, and more gas-x strips. I am gurgling like a maniac, you can hear it across the room and I don't feel as uncomfortable. I really hope there is nothing wrong with me except a grumpy system that's taking its time going back to normal.
Besides the papaya is helpful for digesting meat and if you get anything stuck, so its something I meant to have around anyway just never bought.

And btw, I sooooo wish I could belch! I haven't really been able to since surgery unless I drink something hot and even then they are usually pathetic.
I did pretty well most of the day.
B: 2 EAS protein shakes @ 220 calories, 34g protein
1 mug decaf coffee wiith the usual @ 20 calories, 2g protein
E: killer treadmill for 30 minutes = 225 calories expended
did strength training for 30 minutes, but have no idea of calories expended
L: 2 EAS protein shakes @ 220 calories, 34g protein
S; 1 Instone chocolate pudding @ 100 calories, 20g protein
E; aquacise class x 40 minutes = 100 calories expended
D: nasty can of "beef stew" which I really think was Alpo @ 300 calories, 25g protein
2 bagels, both of which are currently stuck in my aorta and causing me to dump @ 350 cal
Totals: 1630 calories - 325 expended = 1305 calories
115g protein
I shouldn't do this to the food bank, but the rest of the cans of "beef stew" are being donated tomorrow. Ugh. I'm not eating another bagel, either, I didn't enjoy them enough to suffer this much.

Alpo... yum. 2 full-size bagels? Can your pouch hold that much now? Good job on the protein, as always.
