My M.D. happened to mention to me that Aspartame made her hungry and she told me to watch and see if it did me. I was drinking drinks with it at the time and i thought it did make me hungrer (sp)
Anyone else notice this. the Splenda drinks are harder to find.

I think both aspertame and splenda make me hungry. I think what happens is that they fool your body into thinking you've had sugar and then you have a mild sugar crash that makes you want to eat! Anyway, it is my theory.

I sure miss your posts... I think your right about making us more hungry....I am hungry all the time
and I drink alot of crystal lite... I think I may try going back to straigh****er tomorrow and see if that makes a difference.

i wonder if that is what is going on with me. I actually have had some low blood sugars even though neither one is suppose to do that. I will have to experiement.

My doctor recommended the use of artifical sweetners as LIMITED.....aspartame is so bad for you anyway...they say Splenda is much better. Let us know how your experiment goes. HUGS Jeanine
