No exercise for me - when I ate lunch I ate it too fast I think, or swallowed a lot of air, or waited too long to eat (no bkfast, lunch at 2). I definitely did something wrong because I didn't make it more than a few bites in to lunch before I got awful chest pain and weird waves of contractions from my pouch down to my belly button. It's passed and I just had some milk, but I don't feel great as of yet.

We ended up going bowling this evening, and bowled 3 games (I won the first two and then got tuckered out). It was pretty fun until the smokers showed up *cough* I'd have liked to bowl another game but it was getting crowded, loud, and smoky.
I have to say, 120 lbs lost improved my game significantly. That and a 6 year gap between games.
I enjoy bowling but no one in my family likes it. Too bad you don't live closer to me, we could go bowling. Our local bowling alley is always having coupon specials for 99 cent games.
I have no aptitude for it, though, but I still enjoy it. The only way I currently do well at bowling is if they leave the bumpers on the gutters.
Since WLS, I am able to bend over and tie my bowling shoes, and I can actually use an adult-sized ball and not the balsa wood ones with the stars on the side that five year olds use.
We have strict no-smoking laws here in CO, so I doubt our lanes are smoky. The law was just extended to casinos Jan 1, and you should hear the wails of protest from gamblers! Frankly, I welcome it. The one thing I hated about the casinos were the disgusting ashtrays and people's cigarette smoke blowing in my eyes. Also, both my parents smoked and died from smoking-related illnesses, so I feel sad when I see anyone smoking.

I took bowling as PE in college (and ballroom dancing, I am such an athlete). I think my average was about a 60 and I broke 100 once, maybe twice. Last night I broke 100 on all three games and I also noticed I could use a heavier ball.
My husband, who is very competitive, was distressed because he was sweating and I wasn't. He is also sore today but I am fine - he kept saying "I have to get in shape!" I think he finally is noticing that I don't get tired so fast anymore, and that he gets tired a lot faster than he used to. We used to bowl and play pool a lot while we lived in San Angelo because its a tiny little religious town with NOTHING to do, and he would ALWAYS win. I think his ego is bruised, so I'm sure we'll be having a rematch.
