Holiday Fun?!

So glad everyone enjoyed their holidays. I wonna go to hawaii to we have family there and as soon as i lose some weight we will go..wehoooooooo My mom has had a mentalbreakdown and was diagnoised parnoid pzyphrenic(cant spell it) she refuses treatment and says their is nothing wrong so things were iffy here. Made photo collegues of our ancestors for everyone on my side. my fil gave my dh 1500 slides we made them intophotos and made photo albums for his side was really nice. Dh sisters invited us to go to jamica next year in jan so i need to get losing.. i feel as long as i have my boys christmas will be great they are my true joy no matter how old they get. i got some beautiful night gowns and a gourgeus pink shirt. im on my diet before the surgery and man i havent had bread pasta or potatos in a week and a half.. the tv commercials are a killer. I lived in Honolulu twice in my life, and still miss it.  The second time I lived there, I was shocked at how "mainland" it had gotten, and how the pineapple farms are nearly gone and the Dole Factory is now a shopping center. Stay away from the TV and also the food circulars from the grocery stores.  It's just easier! Kix

HEY KIX,        GLAD TO HEAR YOUR HOLIDAYS WENT WELL... I DIDNT DO ANYTHING TO DIFFERENT FROM USUAL AT THE HOLIDAYS.. JUST COOKED TILL IM SO TIRED OF LOOKING AT FOOD.....I DID TAKE THE GRANDCHILDREN TO ALVIN MOVIE... IT IS ADDORABLE FOR SURE..... AND WE WENT AND DONE A LIL AFTER CHRISTMAS SHOPPING OF CORSE LOL... FIXING TO HEAD TO JACKSONVILLE FLA NOW TO PICK UP THE YOUNGEST FROM THE AIRPORT.... SHE WAS IN HAWAII FOR THE HOLIDAYS SO NOW SHE IS HEADING TO REDNECKVILLE LOL... MAJOR CULTURE SHOCK THERE HUH? I AM SO READY FOR THE DAYS TO GET BACK TO BORING NORMAL HERE... NO COOKING ALOT. JUST FOR ME AND LEON. IM NOT USED TO A WHOLE HOUSE FULL OF KIDS EITHER LIKE I USED TO HAVE... AINT IT SAD.... I LOVE TO SEE THEM COME BUT A LIL PERKY ALSO WHEN ALL YOU SEE IS TAIL LIGHTS LOL....( OH LORD I APPOLOGIZE)<<< LARRY THE CABLE GUY SAYING. LOL... ITS JUST WAY DIFFERENT WHEN YOU ARE SO USED TO JUST US. SO AFTER NEXT WEEK THINGS WILL GET BACK TO BORING LIFE HERE..I KNOW IT SOUNDS HARSH BUT LET ME TELL YOU.... WHEN THEY ALL LEAVE THE NEST AND MOVE ON AND YOU GET OVER THE AFTERSHOCK OF A BROKEN HEART.... YOU WILL SO LOVE IT....I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.... LOL HUGS MARGE

Jacksonville?  I thought Tallahassee was closer to your part of GA than Jacksonville? I tell you, no one was perkier than me when all I saw were the tail lights!     I'm friendly with a retired couple at the gym, we chat while we exercise.  They have three sons, and the woman said to me, "I don't understand why parents moan when their kids leave home.  We were delighted!"  I laughed because my folks sold their big house when I left for college and moved into a dinky condo that had no spare sleeping accommodations. Glad to hear you had a nice holiday, and no matter what movieplex we went to over the holidays, that darn Alvin movie was playing and the lobby was full of kids and grandparents!  I have to say, I don't like the new Alvin, I prefer the cartoon version.  I love their Christmas song, though, and sing along with it every year.
