New Year's Resolutions, anyone?
Anyone making resolutions for the New Year? If so, put them out there so we can encourage and support you! Here's mine: 1. Continue to exercise at least 6 times per week. 2. Continue to eat healthy. 3. Quit smoking. (I'm not a daily smoker, but I tend to smoke when I drink and/or gamble. More of a social habit than a physical addiction, but it's one habit that definitely needs to go!!!) 4. Learn how to crochet or knit. I'm looking for something to keep my hands busy while I watch television so I don't snack as much! How about you??? Kellie
I'm also making some resolutions. Here are mine. 1. Start putting myself first. 2. Stop eating between meals. 3. Join the gym down the street. Kellie I crochet and do counted cross stich. I do it when I watch tv or when I want to eat when I shouldn't. I did it a lot when I was trying to quit smoking. I smoked almost 3 pks. a day and I have not smoked in 6 yrs. Cindy
~ No Particular Order ~
1. Lose the last 39 pounds to reach my goal weight.
2. Work out 3-5 days a week. (Just some kind, ANY KIND, of movement, above and beyond normal daily life movement!)
3. Buy a bike and actually ride it.
4. Do something with my hair.
5. Go someplace, anyplace, once a week, weather permitting.
6. Stop being stubborn about clothes and buy some that fit.
7. Do a better job at keeping the yard taken care of.
8. Look all year for Christmas bag stuffers instead of waiting to the last minute.
9. Finish off all the little half started projects around the house. (make list)
10. Get contacts.
11. Ride on the motorcycle for the first time in 13+ years.
12. Walk in a marathon. (Hopefully at the Montana’s Women’s Run in May)
13. Clear off everything that is left on my WLS Will… list.
14. Eat out at restaurants instead of getting take out.
2008 is going to be a heck of a year!!
Make it what you want it to be!!
Good luck to everyone!

Yep, that's why I phrased it the way I did. I learned a while back that if I start doing the action, sooner or later my mind shift will happen. In this case it is my family lesson that I'm "selfish" if I don't take care of others before myself. It's hard to believe that it's not selfish, but if I go through the motions, eventually I'll be a believer in the New lesson.
Good liuk to you too!
