Sounds like a great time at your house, Marge!!!  Smart move to evict some of the Ritz from the house; crackers can be evil.   Bummer that you can't eat bread - I don't eat much, but it doesn't bother me when I do.  I've learned the hard way to avoid things that constipate me, so I'm careful about too much bread and/or cheese.   I've never had red velvet cake - it's on my list of things to try at some point.  Like I need anything else on my list of things I like to eat... Enjoy the time with your family, especially those grandkids Kellie

hi kellie things are going pretty well for me. i'm 2 weeks out from my LBL today -- been at home alone for the last 2 weeks, so eating incorrectly hasn't been a problem! i'm planning to travel to florida on sunday to spend next week with my parents. it will be just them and me, and my mother is very supportive of my new eating habits, so it will be fine. i just hope the travel goes smoothly this soon after surgery, but i think it will. all the best to everyone! deb

How is your recovery going, Deb?  I cannot WAIT until I can get rid of this excess skin, but I decided to wait until 2009 so I can finish losing these last 20 pounds, then be stable for a while before going under the knife.  How come losing the last 40-50 pounds takes as long as losing the first 175???   I hope your travels go smoothly, and that you enjoy the time with your parents.  Hope the Florida weather is kind to you!!! Kellie
