Opening the gym early, and now that the weather has warmed up a bit, I can actually go out and do a bunch of exercising today.  Woohoo! What did you do to move your body today? Kix

15 mins elliptical 30 mins lower body weight training 15 mins elliptical I'd started adding in a new exercise that works my upper abs on Thurs and Fri of last week... my dang abs hurt so bad all day long on Saturday... so today I skipped that part...

30 minutes treadmill at a fast walk no incline, some stretching before and after.  The gym was ok.  I was definitely intimidated, but I found a place by myself and just sucked it up.  Treadmills are interesting, its the first time I ever used one.  I'm not sure what think except that it makes me a little dizzy and I feel like I'm a hamster in a wheel.  Apparently the dizziness will get better.  We are supposed to meet with a trainer tomorrow for an orientation and exercise plan.  I am thinking about buying 1 or 3 sessions with a trainer to get me started.  We get a little bit of a discount because of Ryan's work, and another discount because we are new.  I want to see how the one we are meeting with is before I give him any money though.  He seemed kind of disinterested when we talked to him the other day, but maybe it was a bad day.

I went to the mall and walked 1.5 miles.  I also spent money (tsk tsk).  I then headed to the rec center, and the place was packed.  I came home and walked the dogs up and down the hill a couple of times, then went to my montly WLS support group meeting. Kix
