Goal met at 3-month check-up/pic update
First, I have to apologize for leaving my profile locked to those who were not on my friends list. Thanks to kago for letting me know. I've unlocked it now.
And the great news is that today my new surgeon, Dr. Hess, took me off my blood pressure meds.
My reading today was 102/67. I guess that's low enough, especially after a scary 1 1/2 hr ride at the end of an ice storm, and having to climb down from the roof of a 5-story parking garage because I didn't know there was an elevator
I also got to meet the NUT (hadn't seen one since my pre-op visit in May) and she was GREAT!! Says I'm doing good, and gave me more ideas and added some things I hadn't tried yet. I'm very excited.
My official weight loss from day of surgery at the 3-month mark is now 62lbs. Not bad for me.

Yay Julie! I was so happy to go off of blood pressure meds too! I went to half dose before surgery when my reading went to 90/50. Then after surgery I stayed off of them all together.
62 lbs! Wow! That's 20 lbs a month, you are doing so great
