Yesterday made 4 months since surgery.   How quickly!  I had a good month - I hit 100 total lost, and 70 lbs lost from surgery (that one was yesterday).  I fit in a booth, and in to jeans two sizes smaller. I had to move the seat up in the car and on the recumbent bike.  People really started to notice the weight loss.  The only bad result is the hair loss, but it *seems* to be slowing down already.  My fingers are crossed!  Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the results!  I'll post 4 month pictures probably tonight or tomorrow- we are getting dressed up and going on a date tonight so I'll wait until I look nice.  Edit - before and after picture added

You are doing so good.  I remember when you were pre-op and asking loads of question.  You keep up the good work. Jeanne

Congrats on hitting your 4-month anniversary, Dunny!  100 pounds lost - totally amazing; what a wild ride this can be.

My hair loss lasted for about 3 months - keep (or start) taking the zinc and biotin supplements.  Won't stop the hair loss, but those things are good for healthy hair and nails.

I look forward to seeing your new pictures.  Hope you and your hubby enjoy your date Kellie

Holy cow, Dunny, you are smokin'!    What a significant difference in such a short time! Isn't it funny having to move the car sear forward?  Mine is practically up as far as it goes now.  I knew I had basset hound legs, but my fat belly and azz required me to move the car seat all the way back.  It feels so weird! I was too ashamed to take a before photo, after seeing yours, I wish I had.  My surgeon took one at my first post-op visit, and when I went to see him on my 1-year anniversary, I saw the picture.  There was quite a change, but it would have been more dramatic had I gotten a picture from my absolute fattest. I never had any hair loss.  I can't really see any hair loss on you, either, so it must not be a huge loss or you are hiding it well. I'm just delighted to see how well you look at only four months out.  Well done!   Woohoo! Kix

I wish I'd taken before measurements - the surgeon did, I need to get those from them next time I go.  I didn't take an official before picture either - that picture was from Christmas and I remember being MORTIFIED when I saw it.  I didn't let people take full body pictures of me... ever.  I cried.  Its still amazing that I am willing to let anyone see that picture, much less post it here and on myspace for the world to see.  I wasn't especially happy with the after picture either, but when I put it next to the before picture, I felt a lot better about it.  I didn't know my boobs would look bigger when everything started getting smaller though, haha.  The hair loss is moderate - it came out in chunks for a week or two and was always all over my clothes.  Now I'm still cleaning my brush more often and a little falls out in the shower, but not much more than would fall out normally.  Its not so scary that I'm going to go bald now, but it is thinner.  I haven't really tried to do anything to disguise it.  I wear it up most of the time and just ignore it.  Thank you for calling me smokin!  I've never been smokin before! LOL
