Welcome Lisa! It's great you found a surgeon who will do your surgery. You sound quite motivated, and it's good you're not letting the pre-op weight loss get you overwhelmed. Someone on this board told me "it'll be one pound less you'll have to lose later", which didn't make it easier back then. But it really is true. Plus, knowing you're doing everything possible to go into surgery as healthy as possible will feel really good.
One suggestion I have is for you to find a shake you like once you get off the supervised program and onto the 1200 calorie part of your program. There are plenty out there. I love mine, and still use them daily. It's a quick, easy 20gr of protein, and since I make it with water, I get extra water too.

Welcome Lisa. You are a brave woman and should commend yourself for not giving up. It may seem like a long road, but the trip is well worth it. I wish you continued success on the liquid, I had 6 weeks of that prior to my surgery 11/13/07. I am now on semi-pureed foods for a month. One good thing about the liquid diet is the way it curbed my appetite and shrunk my stomach. Made things much easier to face in the end. Hang in there and we're here for you. HUGS
