The gym is open.  I'm not sure what kind of exercise I'll get today, it all depends on how robust I feel. What did you do to move your body today? Kix

I am not sure if running counts.  If so, I have been running through all the things in my mind that woke me up at 1am and have kept me up all night.  Lots of work and body stress.

I will see if I can get in some walking time later.

Hi, Kix.  Posting my plan to (hopefully) keep myself on track.  I've had a good exercise week and would like to wrap things up with a flourish, so to speak.  So I'm planning to lift weights for upper and lower body at lunch, then go back after work for 45-50 minutes on cardio.  I'm confident that the strength training will happen; not so sure about making it to the gym Friday after work...  Perhaps my workout buddy here at the office will be able to convince me to go... I have a meeting with my surgeon, we affectionately(?) call him Dr. Bozo.  After that I plan to take a walk - we walked in a nice new park yesterday - lots of trees so you felt very isolated.

Surgeon appt was interesting.  I have had a headache for about a week and nothing helps - he didn't have anything to say other than maybe a B-12 shot?  So I got a B-12 shot, continue taking iron, increase B complex to daily, and see you in 3 months.  He also said I look tired and don't have the glow I had when he first met me... ummm thanks.  Weight loss was fine, he could definitely see a difference.  Several of the nurses commented on it too.  He asked about my sleep, and also whether I wanted a sleeping pill.  I said no, I fall asleep fine and I wake up feeling ok, but once a week or so I just crash out for 12-15 hours.  I don't know why, but that's what my body has been doing.   I think I'm going to look in to a higher quality vitamin like Bariatric Advantage or Vista.  Oh, and my husband signed us both up for the gym through his job!  We can start tomorrow I think, and best of all its a really nice gym!  Its normally 60-70/month per person, and we are getting 2 memberships for 35/month.  Yay!  Now I'll have more interesting things to report than "went walking " or "did the recumbent bike" I am cleared to start weight training too.
