Ok I am trying to find out , I have lost 170 lbs. My belly that is hanging is still hard feeling. Does this mean that even though my weight loss is slowed I have more to loose before a TT. I expected it to feel real loose skin. Hope you know what I mean. Pam

Hi Pam, I am going for my second panni (hopefully) this January.  My first one I had opted to have it to help mobility.  I had that done instead of GBS, the surgeon removed 50 lbs. of skin, fluid etc.  It was not loose skin it was hard, but I was 450 lbs at the time.  I am now into the high 2's and will have my second panni in the hopes that my lymph circulation will improve, I have lymphedma in both groin and leg, after losing 200 lbs. I have hanging skin, but it is hard in some areas.  My advise to you is to see a plastic surgeon and discuss the possibilities.  Once I get to my goal weight of 180 lbs. I might then have to again go for an actual tummy tuck, but I am not concerned about that right now. I hope this helped.  If you have any further questions, please feel free to pm me.  Mamabay had extensive plastics and she might see your question and have better advise. Jeanne
