Gym is Open (Tuesday 11/20)
Sorry I'm late opening the gym, my family arrived late last night from California and we stayed up way too late gabbing.
I need to exercise today, I'm just not sure if it will be "proper" exercise (my full routine at the rec center, including weights) or just a one-mile walk at the mall.
What will you do to move your body today?

There she is! Thought about opening the gym myself but I didn't want to step on your post......
15 mins elliptical
15 mins upper body weight machines
15 mins upper body free weights (this was kinda scary alone in the gym by myself I'm always afraid I'm going to hurt myself or do it wrong or something)
15 mins elliptical

Hi, Kix! Thanks for opening the gym! Glad you are enjoying gabbing with your family; hope you all have a great Thanksgiving.
I lifted weights for upper and lower body at lunch today. I'm planning to go back after work for 45-50 minutes of cardio on the elliptical trainer.
Good luck to everyone finding the time, energy and motivation to move today! Burn off calories today, so we can eat turkey and fixins' on Thursday!

Hi Kix,
Thanks for your response about the insurance. Very helpful, will respond later.
My exercise today was again non-traditional, but really exciting. I parked way far away and then spent an hour wandering the grocery store, using one of those hand-held scanners for the first time. Although that was fun, the exciting part was that I had absolutely no pain anywhere(!!****il I got to the checkout and needed help understanding the directions for the scanner. The guy who was supposed to be there to help was a serious pain in the a*#.
I'm so psyched since just a couple months ago I still needed a cart to lean on and was in agony from pain in my back and legs, and would sweat profusely. This surgery has set me free. I can't wait to see what I feel like after the next 100 lbs go.
