Gym is Open (Monday 11/19)
Turkey Week commences! Let's not start eating already, let's get up and exercise! Shake those bodies!
I have a full day ahead -- I have to go to Toys R Us (ugh), then rush home to clean the house because our Turkey Week company arrives around 11 PM. I desperately need to exercise, but all I may have time for is a one mile lap around the mall and not my rec center work. We'll see how well I budget my time.
What will you do to move your body today? Oh, and chewing doesn't count!

Did my usual 3 AM workout about 15 mins late this morning,
5 min warm up on elliptical
30 mins lower body weight training
30 mins treadmill +7 incline @ 3.3 mph

I walked for 20 min this morning before work and it felt good. I may walk again at lunch. I fear that if I leave the lab though, I may not come back.
I've been a no-show for about 9 days, working from home. It feels weird to be back here today. I don't really care for it. No naps.

Today was a bit of a milestone for me - I ran 3 miles!! I'm slower than molasses, but I did it! No walking, just straight running. And it was a piece of cake, no problems at all - woohoo!! It looks like I will be running that 5K no problem. Of course I have only run it on the treadmill, so once I hit the streets I might not be as energetic. Everyone says it's much more difficult to run outside, so this week I am going to attempt it while I'm in texas - hopefully the weather will hold out.
I also did 30 minutes of weights - I'm trying to plan my week to get in as much exercise as possible before I go to Texas and luckily I didn't have school today, so had plenty of time to get in a nice long workout. Kind of nice not having to run around getting ready in a hurry
