3 Month Check In
Well yesterday was 3 months from my surgery. I have lost 56 pounds and 79 from my highest weight. I am 12 pounds away from twonerville. I will be glad to get there. I was a bit disapointed to have only lost 6 pounds this month but from all the different profiles and postings I have read, it seems that this happens just about now.
I am noticing a minimal increase in my hair that is falling out. I will keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't get any worse.
My plan is to lose 202 pounds prior to plastics. I believe I will still need liposuction to get rid of the saddle bags I have on my hips. So since I have lost 56 pounds in 3 months I am approximately 28% of the way to my goal.
My labs still show low D and prealbumin but they are moving in the right direction. Now I have low sodium and potassium so I am taking a potassium pill. Once I replace my deleted stockpile I should be okay.
My issue is that I have been tired but it is hard for me to say whether that is because I am getting up around 5:30am these days or some other reason.
So all is well and I got a full release from my surgeon so I am beginning on my 10 pin bowling league tonight. Yeehaa!!

Congratulations on your 3 month surgery anniversary. I am glad your blood work is getting better and hopefully your energy will keep going up as your vitamin balance improved and the weight comes off. I am tired a lot too, I seem to like a nap as soon as I get home from work these days.
56 lbs in 3 months! Woohoo! Go Jo!!!
Congrats hon! I had a big stall after the first month - didn't lose anything for an entire month. But, it all caught up pretty quickly and look at me now
. It is hard to not be disappointed though and I know I really obsessed about the scale a lot those first few months.
I just found out I am low on D and potassium as well. I've heard quite a few people say the same, so I guess it is common. Just started to take vitamin D (since that was reallllyyy low) and have added a banana or raisins each day (since I'm not too low on potassium yet - thought I would try it naturally). It makes me even more intent to continue to take my vitamins everyday!
Congrats to you and have fun bowling!!
Pam
