Gym is Open (Thursday 11/15)
Good Morning Kix!
Since I did some unexpected lifting and toting and tugging yesterday my arms were already sore this morning so I skipped my weight training, my bad..... but I did my 30 mins on the elliptical....

It was weights day for me... boring, uninteresting weight day (yup, I really need to start to change up my routine, getting so bored with my weights! I plan on starting a new program this weekend)
There is this lady who has been working out the same time I have the past 2 weeks and every time she works out, she talks on the phone the entire time. THE ENTIRE TIME!! It is so unbelievably irritating, I want to walk up to her and snatch the damn thing out of her hand. I have seen her on the weekends as well, and it's the same thing, just talk, talk, talk. And it's irritating talk, like how her boyfriend always cheats on her (duh, get a new boyfriend idiot), how her credit card company are all crooks, etc. I do not want to hear her entire life story while I'm working out!
Can you tell this irritates me? If just started my day off wrong.
I was going to do some climbing tonight but I found out the wall at REI is closed for the next 10 days, so no climbing for me for a while.
I'm going to go take a shower and try to put on a better mood for work. Have a good one everyone!

They don't allow cell phone use at our rec center except in the lounge area. When I am running through my list of things to be thankful for next week, I will be sure and add this to my list. Cell phones irritate me no end -- I use mine so seldom that I have about eleventy billion rollover minutes. In fact, I use the camera on the phone more than the actual phone!
I heard one woman at the grocery yakking on her cell phone about her yeast infection!
I didn't know the climbing wall took vacations. That sucks.
I had to get up a dawn o'clock to check in for my flight to Oakland tomorrow. I checked in exactly 24 hrs prior to my flight, and Southwest says I'm A18. 18? How did 17 people check in ahead of me? I'm not sure I'm going to like this new boarding system, I liked the old one better, but then, I'm a veteran of elbowing my way onto Southwest flights.
I could go exercise now, but it's cold and I'm tired. I may just go back to bed rather than start being productive. Can you tell I am spoiled and going back to work will be a BIG SHOCK in terms of my sleeping schedule?
Have a good day!

Baggy skin flapping is why I don't do jumping jacks!!! I tried jumping jacks a couple months ago and it sounded like I was applauding myself. Funny and not funny at the same time! I can't wait until I get rid of this extra skin from my belly! But plastic surgeon says finish losing, then be stable for 12 months, then we can talk. Sigh. So baggy skin flapping continues to be part of my life -
I'm going to the gym after work today. I did the elliptical trainer yesterday, so I think I'll do 25 minutes on the rowing machine and 25 minutes on the bike today. Variety is the spice of life, you know. Plus I got bored doing the same thing all the time, so needed to switch things up. And it turns out that rowing gets my heart rate up around 130 BPM, which is right where I want to be. Nice.
Good luck to everyone finding the time, motivation, and energy to move today!

We rearranged the living room and cleaned up a lot this evening, I'm counting furniture moving as my workout even though I didn't do any heavy lifting... still weary of that, it hasn't been 3 months since my second surgery yet. Mostly I did a lot of vacuuming and laundry.
I'm having mild pain in the same spot I had gall bladder pain. It happens intermittently, and I can't ever figure out what sets it off. It used to happen every few months, now it seems to be once or maybe twice a year, and only lasts a day or two. Its an unpleasant reminder of how much passing gallstones hurts, but its a mere shadow of that level of pain. Lately I feel like my body is just trying to give out! First my heel hurts, then my hip and back, then I keep spitting up (which has stopped thankfully) and now the spot where my gallbladder was hurts. I swear I had fewer aches and pains a hundred pounds ago!
