Well I was going to try to pick up a 50 lb bag of dog food tonight at wal mart to see what it feels like because guess what that is what I have lost is 53 lbs, I am so happy, the reason I didn't pick it up is because I didn't want to hurt my self and pick up anything heavy, being not so far out post op. I lost 37 lbs before surgery on my own and 16 since surgery, I am so happy to be on this wild ride and to be on the loser bench with all of my wonderful Oh family, sorry I am sitting here crying in JOY I seriously have not felt this good in Ten years, I just cant explain it to anyone. I did want to ask a qwestion that I think I will see if it passes, any time I eat anything I get tired, and I could take a nap and some times I do and 45 to 1 hour later feel great.  Anyone know what is up with that..    Thanks and God Bless all of you! I still get that tired/want to nap feeling if I eat too many carbs at one time, but that didn't happen to me early out or with proteins.  Not sure what's going on for you, but hopefully someone can shed some light on it for you.   Good idea not to pick up the 50 pound bag of dog food just yet - still to early out for such activity!   Enjoy the journey :-) Kellie

HEY KRIS,          BETTER TAKE IT EASY AND NOT BE OVERDOING IT.... I KNOW YOU MIGHT FEEL LIKE A MILLION BUCKS BUT CAN OVERDO IT SOMETIMES....MAKES IT HARD TO BELIEVE HOW WE CAN WALK AND TOTE ALL THAT WEIGHT AROUND DOESNT IT? MY FEET AND LEGS AND KNEES USED TO GIVE ME A FIT. I HAD GOTTEN TO WHERE I COULDNT HARDLY GO AT ALL. AND I LOVED TO SHOP AND WHEN IT STARTED AFFECTING THE THINGS YOU LOVE IT GETS SAD. I REMEMBER GETTING TIRED REALLY EASY STARTING OUT AFTER SURGERY... JUST TAKE IT EASY.... HUGS MARGE

Karma....What would life be without it?  250lbs gone! 410/160... Life's sweet!

Yes Kristy I think that all the time I could SURE not carry a 168 lb anything yet that is what my body did for years. No wonder it started to complain !!!! The surgery has been such a miracle for me and others it is truly Life changing and hopefullt life lengthening.
