newbie on board

Hi everyone. I'm a newbie on the board. I just thought I would pop in and say hello and introduce myself. My name is Pam. I live in St.Catharines, Ontario. My BMI is 55.4 I have just begun the process of this awesome journey.  My GP had me do a stress test before he would agree to sign my OHIP (pays for the surgery in the US) papers. I had the test last week and the technician said I passed but it may take a week or so for the GP to get the results. I went to a support meeting and met some really awesome people. They answered many questions. But, they were all BMI's under 50. So, I thought I would mosie on over here and introduce myself. I am planning on being a Dr.L. patient and having the DS. Becasue of scheduling I am also planning on a spring surgery. That's about it for now.
