I have realized an eight pound weight loss since my lower body lift on 10/17.  He took off 15 pounds.  The great news is that I now weight exactly half of my starting weight of 344.  Yippee!!  I am healing well.  My skin is super sensitive and I am tired of being sore, bit it is all part of the process.  Loris

Hi Loris, Congrads on your lower body lift!  What is that procedure?  Did you have drains?  How did they "lift" you?  Sorry if that is a dumb question.  I had a panncutamy done a little over a month ago now.  I remember looking at the calendar and thnking about how much better I would be feeling after Halloween.  I do feel better...but no more surgeries for me..stick a fork in me I'm done!  I hope you keep healing right along.  I get sooo tired by the end of the day, that I need a nap before dinner.  This too should pass.  I do not miss the 15 pounds of fat that ended up in the bucket for sure! Hugs and Smiles, Ginger

Hi Ginger,  I am glad you are feeling better.  In a lower body lift they do a tummy tuck with muscle tightening, a butt lift, the hips and the outer thighs.  I was cut completely around.  Check out my pictures on my profile.  It is time I took some more now that the swelling is down.  I still have 3 of my four drains.  Hopefully, they will come out Tuesday. On 1/23/08 I am having an upper body lift which will address my breast (no implants) my bra overhang and my back fat.  Then I will be done.  All of this is self pay. Take care, Loris

Wow Loris, You are the brave one!  Now that I had the plastics, I can see more parts of my body that really need help and that exercise will not help go away.  It was weird to look at my flabby thighs because I haven't really seen the upper part of my thighs in years because of the belly over-hang! LOL  Good luck with your January surgery and thanks for the good info.  Two months ago I didn't even think this sort of thing was in the relms of possibility for somebody like me..now that I'm feeling better, I'm glad I did it, Hugs, Ginger

Loris, congratulations on your body lift.  You mentioned getting a boob lift with no implants -- mine are so droopy and empty I can't figure out how they'd do a boob lift without putting something in there to hold them up.  Are they using tissue from another spot on your body? You also mentioned being self-pay.  If it isn't too rude a question, can you share with us a ballpark figure for your surgeries?   Kix

My breasts are now 38DD longs.  Without a bra they are flat.  He is going to leave the side boobs attached and fold it in and under for shape.  That is called auto augmentation.  I have no idea what size I will be.  I told him i will except whatever mother nature guides him.  We are going into it all with the idea that it will be a lift, not a reduction per se, but that I will lose size. When it is all said and done we will be out of pocket about $25,000.  We are blessed.  I had a good night last night.  I got some good blocks of sleep and my back is behaving.  :) Hugs, Loris
