Gym is Open (Monday 10/22)
Opening the gym a bit early, as I have a full morning ahead and didn't want to keep everyone waiting for me.
I'll post my exercise later on. I also have my monthly WLS support group meeting tonight, so I think by the time the day is over, I'll wish I had some of those shoes the kids wear that have the built-in roller skates!

WOOOOHOOOO for Monday Morning Workouts! Even if I'm stiff and sore all over afterwards.... LOL
5 min warm up on elliptical
30 mins lower body weight training
30 mins treadmill
I have to admit I was stiff and sore before I worked out too... I went out dancing with the girls after our TX msg board dinner Sat night.... I danced my butt off.... Sunday morning my back, hips and head hurt, heck even the bottom of my feet were sore... LOL

I've got a busy day on tap for me - I have a test this morning in class (and yes, that did sound dirty in the other post - although that one "German' student certainly does make me think like that!) then head up to the mountains for a staff retreat. It's at this beautiful dude ranch in the middle of nowhere and one of my favorite places. I'll be there until Wednesday, so it will be a nice break.
I did a short run this morning, just 25 minutes of the usual jog/walk. Then this afternoon I am leading a hike for the staff retreat - it's suppose to be about 5 miles and lots of rock climbing -should be fun! I think that meets my quota for exercise today.
Have fun 'skating' around today!
It seems I pulled my left leg muscles bopping to hard to my iPod on Thursday. I had to take Friday and Saturday off. I went back Sunday and today and plodded my arse around my 1/2 mile course. Nothing like the skinny Rockies fans do, but I wore my RED SOX cap and held my head high. (gee, no one feeling left alone in her loyalty on this board!)

The weather got cold here last night and I'm starting to think I will be one of those people who can predict weather changes with my sore joints because my hip and knee were killing me all night. I ended up taking some codeine so I could sleep. Part of it is because I have a really bad blister on the back of one heel and its been making me walk funny with shoes on. I think the way I was walking irritated the hip and knee.
Anyway, to make a long story short - I didn't exercise today. I did go to Avenue and buy a new pair of jeans though. I was coooold and needed some pants. It was in the 50s today, normally I'd be cheering about that but since surgery I am too cold to cheer.
