Gym is Open (Friday 10/19)

The high cardio would be very hard in a warm pool, and the warm pool that I was in at the Y in Vegas was very shallow - only 3 feet at the deepest point in the center.  You need something deeper to avoid the impact on your knee/ankle joints. I hear you about the cold water!  There are times when my pool feels cold after being in it for a length of time because the water will lower your core body temp over time.  Try the short wet suit and see if that helps. It is too bad that they don't have a "happy medium".

I am SOOOOOO happy it is the weekend!!! This week was exhausting and I need some down time. Of course most of that down time will be spent studying, but I am sticking in a shopping trip with mom. More clothes!! Friday was weights day - did 10 minutes of warm up on the treadmill, then spent 40 minutes on upper and lower body. I upped the weights by 10 pounds and I am feeling it today - in a good way, so I guess it was time to move up a little. I haven't had a good, long workout for a few weeks. I'm looking forward to getting in some longer workouts this weekend. Sunday I'll be working away as i watch the snow fall (woohoo, it's almost winter!)
