Why did u do it ?

hi there i was going to do the rny then learned of the DS and decided that the functioning stomach and lack of a hidden left over stomach to worry about was for me.it also offers more in your choices for meds down the road.like the nsaids and asprin.i didn't like that i would have so many restrictions.i also read alot on the revisions board and alot of rnys are being revised to DS because of the long term chance of a surgical failure.so i am in the process of getting ok'ed for the DS.hope you are happy with what ever your choice is    good luck
