Durian!   I ate durian when I lived in Hawaii, and let me tell you, it is an experience you will never forget.  First of all, the smell is so gross that it's hard to get past it to actually enjoy the fruit.  Think about rotting garbage marinated in skunk oil, and left out in the sun for a couple of months.  Ugh! In fact, I don't really remember how the fruit tastes, but I will recall how bad it smelled until the day I die.  The only other thing I hate more than durian is breadfruit.  Can you even get durian in Idaho?  My next question is, why do you want to try durian?  Some things are better left untried! DURIAN!  YUCK!  It is horrible and smells absolutely revolting--stay far far far far far away from it!  I think it is wrong to even classify it as a food, much less a fruit!!

Maybe I should have just eaten durian during my pre-op days.  It sounds like I would have lost a lot more weight, because I'd never ever ever ever be able to eat something like that.  I have tried breadfruit also (Kix).  Well, one taste, which I spit out.
