This is the best message board

I have been surfing around these boards lately. Trying to give myself some much needed momentum. They are all great and informative. But the over 50 BMI Board is the best. The Ones on this sight who have been through all this are kind and thoughtfull and want to help out the newbies like myself who have not had surgery yet. And everybody who come to this board are so nice. The other boards fight here and and there. Not that I don't find it entertaining  and I post here and there but mostly I surf through reading the posts. I guess what I am trying to say ( not very eliquently  I might add) Thanks everyone for being so nice. Peace out

Yes I agree with you. I am a DS'er and there is always lots of drama on that board. Here it is peaceful and always welcoming.

GIRL, YOU ARE SO RIGHT... I WILL LURK AROUND SOME ON THE OTHER BOARDS BUT THIS IS HOME TO ME... I DECIDED LONG AGO THAT NO MATTER WHAT SIZE I WAS GONNA GET TO BE THAT THE OVER 50 BMI BOARD WAS THE ONE THAT MATTERS... THEY HAVE BEEN THERE FOR ME SINCE BEFORE SURGERY ALSO AND I HAVE TO SAY WOULDNT HAVE KNOWN ALOT OF THINGS IF NOT GETTING ON THIS BOARD...THEY DONT GET IN CAT FIGHTS, AND DRAMA OVERLOAD AND ALL BUT WE SURE CAN GET )(&^% SOMETIMES AND THATS WHEN WE KNOW WHO OUR FRIENDS ARE... DONT GET ME WRONG... I LOVE SOME JERRY SPRINGER TYPE DRAMA SOMETIMES WHEN IM BORED BUT AS LONG AS ITS NOT ME LOL....WE ARE THERE FOR EACH OTHER.. SO HANG SISTA... ITS THE BEST! HUGS MARGE

Diana, I can't tell you how much this board means to me too... You are right everyone is so supportive. This is a perfect opportunity to thank everyone who has ever responded to any of my posts. I look forward to getting on my computer and getting all the wise wisdom..it means more than I can say... Oh that it is hahahahha LOL But if I have a serious question I am greatful that I have this board to come "home" to.

I love this message board.  I post sometimes on the RNY board and I sometimes read the main board, but BMI over 50 is my OH home, and the main reason I even look in on OH everyday.  Everyone is so nice, supportive, and best of all understanding.  These are the people who've struggled the most with obesity and with all the myraid ways that it complicates and affects your life.  I love you guys!
