I LOVE reading your exercise posts, Kix.  I still vividly remember your posts when you first started going to the gym, and doing 10 minutes on the armbike tuckered you out.  Now look at you!!!!  Our bodies are amazing at healing and transforming, if we just do the right things...  Keep up the great work!!!  Kellie

Wow, you are really stepping it up today - good for you! Those 7 pounds from last week will be gone before you know it. Today was my lighter day - I did weights today, started with a 10 minute warmup then did both upper and lower body. Then at lunch I walked our 2 mile trail around work - pretty trail and it was a perfect fall day. I love this time of year!

Isn't it a beautiful day today!  I also love fall.  I think the weather is supposed to be nice all week, too. I thought about walking around Kendrick Lake Park today on my way home from the rec center, but I didn't have time.  It's a mile, and I'd like to see if I can actually walk a mile without expiring!  Also, I didn't have my pedometer with me, and I like to use the pedometer when I do that kind of walking. Kix,

Your commitment to exercise is knocking me out!!!  Good for you!!!

I missed making it to the gym this morning, but, I'm making up with walking.  I walked the 1.5 miles to and from weigh****chers and I'm heading out now to do the 2 mile round trip walk to the post office.  With the Jethro Tull Concert tonight, I'm sure I'll get in my 5 miles total for the day!

By the way, Jethro Tull is doing an acoustic show tonight, interesting.

Lori, I've been to Symphony Hall (oops, Abravanel Hall now), and the acoustics are outstanding!  I will be eager to hear all about the concert, I'm trying to imagine acoustic Jethro Tull. All this walking up by the U must be beautiful this time of year with all the fall color.  We don't have oak trees in my part of Colorado (I'm not sure if Colorado has oak trees, period), and I miss the blazing red color of the oak leaves in the fall.  Our home in SLC had a backyard full of oak trees, which I used to curse when I had to rake up all the acorns. I'm not sure I'm committed to exercise so much, it's that if I don't exercise, I do not burn one calorie. All this nonsense about burning calories just sitting and watching TV must occur in a parallel universe and not the one I live in!  Have fun at the concert! Kix

Kix,

I don't live in the universe either!  You've bypassed me in weight!  I'm so proud of you!

Lori

I'm 250.

I walked for 10 minutes to warm up, did 20 on the bike, and then walked 15 more.
