Well, I did not get to the pool on Wednesday.  I spent all morning at the vet with a sick dog (it sounds like he has an annoyed vertebra), then I came home and spent all day on my federal resume and supplemental questionnaire.  Ugh. I do plan to go to the pool today for aquacise.  I sure need it, too. What did you do to move your body today? Kix

I made it to the gym this morning but had to cut my workout short because the drinking water has been contaminated here and I couldn't/won't workout without having enough water to drink.... so.... 15 mins elliptical 15 mins upper body workout I'll have to breakdown and use the treadmill at home this evening... LOL

Hope the dog feels better hon. Did you get the resume done? I was going to do my nice, long workout today but my stomach had other ideas. So, I ended up doing 22 minutes on the elliptical and 20 minutes jogging/walking on the treadmill. This weekend I was thinking about running the Race for the Cure 5k Walk/Run here in Denver - I haven't run that far yet (my max is a mile) but I thought it would be a good challenge to see if I can do it. It's suppose to snow Sunday so I'm not too sure if I would enjoy it, but hey, I can walk if it's too much.

Sam is starting to feel better.  The vet says not to let him jump on the furnture or climb stairs until his regimen of doggie drugs is completed -- now that he's feeling better, it's hard keeping him from being frisky.  We also have to carry him so he doesn't strain his back walking -- lifting a 19 lbs shih-tzu off the floor is hard work!  Does it count as exercise? I did get my resume done and was in the process of scanning my old federal employment docs (if you are eligible for reinstatement as a former fed, you have to include supporting docs) when Xcel decided to cut the power in our neighborhood for three hours!  I nearly lost my mind.  I did get everything submitted electronically just before deadline. I'm not up to doing the Race this year, but I hope to next year (along with the Bolder Boulder).  It was always a dream of mine to do the Bay to Breakers in San Francisco, so I should work toward that goal.  It's in May. Oops!!!  My alarm clock didn't go off so I only did 18 min on the treadmill and 18 min on the elliptical.  I couldn't bear to walk outside with the humidity 97% today. Soooooo sore from yesterday!!!  Have a great day everyone!!

OK, it's fall, tell the humidity to back off! I don't blame you not wanting to go outside.  Ugh! Kix

I did 20min on the bike with resistance a little higher.  I woke up with a bad headache that hasn't gone away yet, so I think 20min is all I will do.

Ow!  I'm impressed you did 20 minutes when you had a bad headache.  I hate headaches. Kix

I'm not going to make it to the gym today.  I'm having problems with my car, and need to move it from the local repair shop to the local Chevy dealer.  It's 2 months out of warranty and needs over $1,000 in repairs on things that shouldn't wear out for another 60,000+ miles.  I'm pushing GM to cover the repairs under warranty since the car is just over 3 years old, only has 25,000 miles, and is only 2 months past warranty.  I'm cranky and could really use a good workout to relieve some stress, but must get the car moved to the dealer.  What a hassle -  Kellie
