I thought I'd open the gym a bit early since I'm not sure what my day will be like tomorrow.  I take my sister to the airport at dawn o'clock, so who knows if I'll be conscious enough to exercise once I make that long, long trek back home from DIA? If I exercise (and I probably will), I will post my workout later in the day. What will you do to move your body on a fine Tuesday? Kix

Karen, I started doing interval training and upping the level on the in-line skating machine made my quads yodel!  Interesting how just changing up exercise a bit works a whole new set of muscles. That's a pretty good incline on the treadmill.  Good job! Kix

I worked for 11 hours yesterday and it kicked my butt.  I came home and went to sleep at 7pm!  I woke up for about 20 min later in the evening and then slept again until 11 today!  14 hrs sleep!  My muscles are sore from walking a lot yesterday (I got up every hour and walked and stretched) - I am skipping exercise today... and working from home.  I don't know what I was thinking yesterday.  I didn't realize how long I'd been working until I got home and my husband commented that maybe I should ease into it instead of being a crazy woman.  Oops

Dunny, your husband sounds like a very wise man!  Easing is a good thing. Kix

Hi, Kix.  My workday is done and I'm heading to the gym for 40-50 minutes on the elliptical trainer.  Hope you managed to find time and energy to exercise after your tip to and from DIA.  Who thought it was a good idea to put an airport in the middle of nowhere???   Kellie

Kellie, when my sister first moved to Denver in the early 80s, the airport was closer to town.  They needed more room, and the only space at the time was a big hunk of land that is practically adjacent to Kansas, so that's where they built the airport.  What amazes me is that there are a bunch of subdivisions popping up not too far from there.  If you're going to live that far from downtown, you might as well live in Nebraska. I'll bet you have steel thighs if you're able to do that much time on the elliptical machine.  The most I was able to do was 10 minutes, and my thighs have yet to forgive me for it.  Kix

Diana, I am so impressed that you can do 100 crunches!  Is this on a machine, or are you lying on the floor and crunching away? Also, I keep forgetting to tell you that your new photo is so pretty!  Where was it taken? Kix

Hi Kix, Thank you. I took that picture in Galveston (on the beach wall). I use a machine (nothing fancy at the gym) to do my crunches. I have so much loose skin who knows if I have muscles under there. LOL (((hugs))) Diana PS no gym for me today....too tired...and hubby wasn't going so I really didn't want to go.
