3RD PLASTICS POST OP VISIT....

HOWDY, HOWDY TO ALL,        I WENT FOR MY THIRD DRS POST OP TUESDAY AND OMG, HE TOOK THAT LAST DRAIN OUT... I HAVE TO SAY..... DIDNT FEEL EITHER ONE WHEN HE TOOK THEM OUT... I KNOW, I KNOW, WHEN I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL WITH GALLBLADDER OP I PURE OUT CRYED WHEN THEY TOOK IT OUT... THAT SUCKER LIKED TO HAVE KILLED ME... BUT MAYBE, JUST MAYBE THE "DR MCDREAMY" TRANCE HAD A HOLD OF ME... HE IS SO MUCH A CUTIE PATUTIE I TELL YA...LOL... I WAS SADDENED TO KNOW THAT I WONT SEE HIM ANYMORE TILL NEXT MONTH ON THE 17TH LOL... I KNOW, ITS SAD... MARRIED OLE HEFFER DRUELING OVER HER YOUNG DR... ( GIVE ME A BREAK!! AFTER 30 YEARS ALMOST OF MARRIAGE IT DOESNT HURT TO PUT A LIL GAS TREATMENT IN YOUR TANK LOL)... ANYWHO, HE IS WANTING ME BACK FOR SURGERY ON THE 17TH TO DO THE TWEAKING OF THE TOP PART OF MY STOMACH. HE WAS UNHAPPY WITH THAT AND I DO SEE AS THE WEEKS GO BY THAT IT IS STICKING OUT SOMEWHAT BUT DOESNT BOTHER ME I HAVE TO SAY... SO GO FOR PREOP ON THE 15TH WHICH IS A MONDAY AND THEN WEDNESDAY I GO FOR SURGERY... IM NOT WORRIED OR ANYTHING.IM VERY HAPPY THAT MY DR IS A PERFECTIONIST. BOY MY INSURANCE COMPANY IS GONNA LOVE ME AINT THEY? HE IS WORDING IT SO THEY WILL PAY FOR THAT REVISION LOL.. I TOLD HIM THEY OWE US.. MY HUSBAND HAD WORKED AT THAT ONE JOB FOR 25YRS SHOOT... AND I HAVE TO SAY TO ALL YOU COMING UP AND GOING PS'ERS.... I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT... YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT THE DAY BRINGS... YOU SWELL IN SOME OF THE WEIRDEST PLACES... RIGHT NOW, SORRY.... TO SAY I KNOW TMI.. THE "LIP" AREA IS LIKE HANGING TESTICALS... THEN ONE DAY ITS THE WHOLE LEFT SIDE OF HIP AREA AND THEN ON AND ON... WEIRD AND XFILE LOOKING... HUGE BUMP AND THEN GONE NEXT DAY LOL... I HAVE LEARNT THAT THE MORE I GO THE WORSE IT IS.... BUT JEEZ. CANT SIT HOME AND BE IN THE RECLINER ALL THE TIME... IM HEADING TO MY SISTERS TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY... RUFF RUFF!! BULLDAWGS!! ATHENS GA... SO SHE IS BABY STEPPING IT RIGHT NOW WITH HER HYSTERECTOMY AND ME WITH MY DEAL... GOOD THING LEON LOVES TO SHOP CAUSE HE WILL HAVE TWO OLD LADIES WITH HIM LOL... SELMA AND PATTY OFF OF THE SIMPSONS LOL... SO YALL HAVE A GREAT DAY...JUST WANTED TO UPDATE THE PLASTICS.... LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT BUT THE DRAINS AND PAIN LOL... BUT PAIN WASNT BAD.. HAVE TO SAY... HUGS MARGE

glad you're doing so well, marge! i'm so happy for you to have had this done. i've scheduled a circumferential abdominoplasty for early in dec., and i've really been interested in your updates on how it's going for you. the recovery time kind of worries me...plus i'm alone...but i was alone after the open rny and it worked out fine...so this will too! take care, and keep updating us! deb

Marge You're such a source of inspiration to me!!! I'm glad to hear you're doing well. I had my Abdominoplasty  with muscle tightening 10 days ago. I added you to my friend's list so you can peek at my pics if you want to. You're story and pictures truly inspired me and helped to clam my nerves pre-op. THANK YOU You look great....life is sooooo much better without that hanging skin isn't it I woke up in recovery and told the nurse" my back doesn't hurt....this is the first time since February of this year that I have woke up and had NO back pain"...I feel so thankful to be here...in this body...with good health. I told my daughter that I fell like I'm living in someone else's body Tanya

I haven't had a good drain pulling out experience yet - it hurt every time!  Your post made me think of my mom's relationship with her chiropractor.  She has a total crush on him and its kinda crazy because I went to junior high and high school with him!  I even went on a couple of dates with him!!  I can't stand to hear what nice massages Dr. Josh gives, especially since all her pain is in her butt - my old boyfriend is rubbing my mom's butt!  *sigh*  Lucky mom. 

Marge glad things are going well. Very glad the drain pulling didn't hurt. I have to say I am with Jenn. The two drains being pulled out was the weirdest strangest oddest feeling hurting I had ever experienced.  I too am glad for all your TMI. I will remember this years from now as I get my plastics. Jenn you are too funny. Rubbing your mom's butt. hahahaha

hi marge, Just wanna say as everyone else has, I truly enjoy reading about your experiences with the plastics. I had my post op for my gallbladder yesterday, and we mostly talked about plastics. Since I haven't had any medical issues with the extra skin she is afraid my insurance won't cover any of it. She did say my major point is to let the insurance company know that I have loss over 250lbs, and that in it self should be enough for them to cover me, as it is more of a reconstructive surgery. She said a plastic surgeon may want to take a naked picture of me (without my head) and sent it to the insurance company to show the severity of my skin issues. Oh that would be great ending up on the internet..haha.. She said it may cost me 30 to 40 thousand dollars. Damn it is hard for me to spend that much money on myself. I first must contact my insurance company just to see where they stand.   I have never had a drain, for my RNY or my gallbladder, so I am not sure what they feel like. Glad you are feeling better, and have a nice visit with your Sis. Lynn

Marge, I must say you are doing good emotionally. I always said I would never go in for skin removal I'd wear it all in a big rubber band first ! Well after -170 lbs I have skin hanging from EVERYTHING and I cannot imagine loosing anymore weight where it will hang from. You make me think just maybe I could have the surgery and get it all off.
