Hi there everyone I just wanted to say hi, I have been reading your board for the past couple of days, and enjoyed the post.  I think it is really cool, I have posted before on another board that was based on location, but kinda felt out of place because of my numbers.   It is really nice to see folks that have been where I am doing well, enjoying the ups as well as the downs.  By the way, I am two weeks post op.  Feels good to say that....

It is nice to see a new face around the place. I am something of a lurker myself. I tend to drift in and out of the boards. This one is prety good and the people are really nice and have a lot of experiance to share.

Best of luck in your journey!

Linda

Thanks everyone for the welcome.... I like the term "lurker", because it seems since I have been off work these last couple of weeks that is exactly what I have been doing...

Welcome to the boards. I am a newbie myself still awaiting surgery in mid November. Please feel free to share your results and concerns with us. Thats what we are here for.  I have a daughter who used to post here.  She had her RNY in Jan of 2006. She was 315 lbs and is now approx. 135 lbs. She has kept on track and is actually still losing a bit here & there. She is my motivation, along with the other members here who have been so awesome and brave.  This is the place where you can make friends and flourish. GOOD LUCK!
