Walked for 25 min on the track with my friends, then did 15 mins on the eliptical. What did you do to move your body today? Lori

I walked for 30 minutes this morning and hope to do the same this evening.  I was going to try to pick up the apartment and maybe do some laundry  I am having a little bit of clear/yellow oozing from my largest incision so I decided not to stress it with a big range of motion today.  I think I maybe opened it up a little or stretched it trying to shave my legs in the shower yesterday.  Not infected or anything, just not as dry as it was.

Hi Lori - I taught a really hard ab water aerobic class today, with a 20 minute hi cardio segment.  So 1 hour of water aerobics for me.  I was so blessed by the people who said that they were glad to get a hard workout for a Friday morning, and not just easy stretching activity.  I had been afraid that this Friday morning group would be really critical of my workouts, but all but 1 were really happy with the workout today.  This enthusiam really helped me at a new instructor!  I came home feeling REALLY happy about all of that!   My plan is to go back to the pool tonight for the evening class where I will not instruct, only participate!

Hi, Lori!  I lifted weights at lunch for upper and lower body, and am going back to the gym for cardio after work.  I think I'll do a shorter interval workout -- 35-40 minutes -- so I can be done sooner and get out to enjoy this fabulous day.  It's sunny and upper 70s here, with beautiful blue skies and a nice breeze.  I'm hoping one or two of my friends can meet me for dinner at a restaurant with an outdoor patio so we can take advantage of this great weather.   Have a fabulous weekend! Hi Lori, I did 30 minutes on the treadmill (burned 409 calories). I sat in the sauna for 10 minutes. Have a great weekend. (((hugs))) Diana

I went to my regular rec center (A) and did 45 minutes of cardio.  I went earlier than usual so I would not see Hawt Wheelchair Dude, and guess who showed up ten minutes before I finished my workout?  Sigh.  He was looking particularly fine today, too. When I finished my workout, I decided I wanted to go swimming, and wasn't about to go back into the freezing pool at rec center A, so I went over to the rec center where the warm water therapy pool is housed.  I arrived in time for the second session of aqua arthritis, so I attended the class and then stayed for open swim after class.  The pool was so crowded today, full of clueless seniors who thought nothing of repeatedly wading right into my path while I was swimming back and forth.  After 40 minutes of aqua class and an hour of laps in the pool, I decided to try the dry sauna since Diana takes a sauna after exercise.  I liked it!  I didn't stay in long, maybe two minutes, but I can see myself using it again.
