Gym Is Open (Wednesday)
I slept through the alarm this morning, so I had to hurry to get to the rec center this morning in time to swim for an hour prior to aqua arthritis. I managed to get there in time, so I swam for an hour and then took the 40 minute aqua arthritis class. No hawt dudes at this rec center, darn it.
I noticed yesterday that ourdoxie is getting fat again (darn sister keeps giving him people food for snacks), so I think I'll take him and the shih-tzu for a walk today. They won't like it much, but too bad!

Hi, Lori. In case I haven't do so lately, thanks for keeping the gym open. I really like posting my workouts here, and seeing what other folks are doing helps keep me motivated. So thanks for keeping the gym doors open.
Today I lifted weights for upper and lower body at lunch. I'm going back to the gym in about 20 minutes for a cardio interval workout. I can usually do about 30 minutes of intervals, with a 5 minute warm up and 5 minute cool down. So counting the warm up and cool down time, I should get about 40 minutes of cardio time in today.
Have a great evening!

My best friend came over to keep me company yesterday and we scrapbooked for hours. I set a timer for an hour and then we would go walking for 15 minutes. So all in all, I'd saw we walked for 1:45. I am feeling great still, eating a little bit better, and stir crazy. I don't go back to work/school until next Wed. The only issue I have is that the heat really saps me still.
This isn't something I expected, but its really a relief to me to not be hungry all the time. Its peaceful to not always be thinking about what I am going to eat next meal. I knew food was occupying my mind a lot, but I didn't realize how much. I also didn't realize how hungry I ALWAYS felt. Its like a big pressure has been lifted off of me. Thank goodness!
I also didn't realize how much my friends and I talk about food.
