Gym Is Open (Weekend)
Sorry I'm not so reliable getting the gym opened...I guess my life is too busy...which is a good thing, right?
Yesterday, I tried to go to an AquaFit class, but, it was canceled due to a swim meet. So I shopped instead then went back later and did laps in the pool for 40 mins since I already had my swim suit on. Kicked my butt.
Today, I'm headed to the gym and plan on just doing cardio. Treadmill and eliptical for at 1 hour.
What did you do to move your body this weekend?

Hi Lori,
Thanks for opening the gym. I don't usually write in, because I don't usually move (LOL). But I think it's time I start noticing the changes I am making in that department and give myself some kudos. So I want to note that on Saturday I went grocery shopping (alone of course) and did NOT park in the handicap spots, and walked at a good clip through the whole store. Then I went and got gas, and put air in all four tires (by myself) and I found it is not bothering me at all anymore!!! It used to be I could barely bend over to get the caps off. Now I just had to keep pulling my pants up. When I got home I brought in all the groceries (used my cart because I live in an apt bldg on the second floor) and then put away ALL the groceries right away. Absolutely unheard of for me. Then I got out of my bra right away, changed into my "at home" clothes, and realized I didn't need to lay down and rest. I was dumbfounded. I guess not carrying around a small child on my ass really makes a difference
