wow moment

I just returned from my PCP and I am off every single perscription medication.
I am on my phenergan as needed and pain meds but havent had any so far today.
So as lee told me on our way to the grocery store I am now just taking my viactive multivitimin.
If there are any lurkers wondering about wls and if you are on meds for co morbiditys such as diabetes and high blood pessure then wls is a very hard but good choice to make.
I made my choice in order to have a healthier future.
I have not lost any weight yet but havent gained either.
My energy is stil lower than I like and this heat wave isnt helping either.
When we went to the store I was going to try to walk using a cart but by the time we got from the car into the store my energy was totally gone.
So I used the electric cart to do our shopping.
I am able to dress myself now and clean my kitchen which isnt much but I am working on doing more each day.

Congratulations on getting off medications so soon - my doc told me not to start back up with bp meds after surgery and so far my bp has been fine, so it really does seem to make a difference quickly!  Amazing!

That is amazing Annie! That was really fast, just goes to show what can happen with this surgery. What a blessing! It took me 3 months before my energy levels were good, so give yourself some time, especially with the heat. Congrats Annie, this is great news!
